So I’m potentially booking my surgery for May, however, I have a birthday event that I cant miss which would land around 1 week after surgery. Does anyone have any advise as to whether this would still be doable or not? Will I feel up to going out a week after or should I rearrange the surgery?

Theres no way I would have been up to anything social wise other than tea in my pjs a week after ?. Some people have miraculous recoveries though, you might be lucky! X

I’m now 4 days post Op and doing pretty much everything apart from lifting duties and anything too physical. But this is not the case for everyone, I’m lucky and haven’t been in much pain at all just discomfort!

Thank you both for your replies! Did you have unders or overs? Ive heard unders are a more painful recovery, not sure which im having yet, meeting my surgeon next week so will know then! xx

I had overs and I had a two parties to go to two days after my op. It made me very tired and my chest and back ached but I was ok. Aslong as you take it easy and listen to your body you’ll be ok

I was moving around fine by the 5th day. Just dont expect to be able to wear anything nice to show off your new boobs as you will still be stuck in the ugly sports bras x

One week Later I was fine to go out so I’m sure it be fine
