So had my surgery today in Preston with Dr traynor and omg it went as smooth as ever. For those who are due to have there surgery pleasse do not worry.
I am very flat chested and was previously a 32a however my boobs never filled the cup, I reallt struggled to find bras that fit and was never really interested in bra shopping due to the fact I literally didn’t have boobs, it was more tissue. I got 350cc under the muscle but at this moment I don’t no my size. I can honestly say I didnt really have pain, it’s just a feeling of a tight chest which is to be expected. I was expecting to experience severe pain due to them being under the muscle but i was wrong.
The staff were so wonderful and friendly and make your experience great. Any questions about the day and what to bring an expect please ask.

I’m happy for you to feel good with no extreme pain although it can still come.
But fingers crossed for as smooth recovery as your op was?

How long were you waiting before they took you to the theatre?
Also, my partner is going to drop me off at the clinic but I don’t know if he should stay with me there or just leave and come back when I’ll be ready to go home?

Glad you had a good experience Jemina, and hope you have a good recovery.
What is the hospital like? My surgery is booked on 23rd Jan in Preston.
When are you having yours Monica?

So happy for you Jemina! My experience at Preston was also amazing, it actually couldn’t have been any better and all of the staff were just the loveliest! And the butty when I woke up after my surgery was a dream as well, haha! I too didn’t have any pain afterwards, just the stiffness and achiness that you describe. I’m so glad it has all gone just as well for you, too!

The hospital is very small and intimate. The anaesthetic room, theatre, recovery room, relatives’ room and patients’ rooms are all so close together. I was lucky enough to have an early morning admission, I found out that I was first on the list when I arrived and I was in theatre only an hour after being admitted and the. back in my room only an hour after that, so I would definitely say to ask your partner to stay with you as you won’t be gone long. It was really helpful for me to have somebody on hand to pass me things so that I could relax and didn’t have to keep on getting out of bed and of course for the moral support and company too. Good luck with your upcoming surgeries girls, just try to enjoy the experience as this is such a huge life event for us all!

Kylie I’m going to have my surgery this Sunday, 13th January in London.

Thanks for the advice Becca. Was thinking to send him away so he wouldn’t be stuck in the clinic but some company and a hand is not a bad idea ? xx

Thanks girls, you’ve put my mind at ease. I’m glad is a nice hospital. The one thing I worry about is, will I be happy with my size.
Good luck Monica, I hope it all goes well for you x

If you are unsure about the size you have chosen, maybe try to make another appointment with your PC to go in and try it again, just to put your mind at rest?
