Hiya. I had an areola reduction nearly 3 weeks ago, I’ve put on some pictures but since I only had my bandages taken off totally on Thursday ive not had chance to put any new ones on. I also have no before pictures until my 6 week post op check up. Sorry I’m not much use am I!! I’ll take some pics later and upload them so you can have a look 🙂 I’ve added you as a friend x

Aw thank you ladies! I’m quite nervous about the pain of it tbh and how long it takes to heal x

@charlottelily93 well I’m not really close to being healed at 3 weeks post op, they seem to be healing slower than the incisions made for the implant in the breast crease. Nothing too painful, my dressings were taken off under my breast at one week post op and my areola dressings changed and left on for another week. Unfortunately that meant a two week shower ban which I wasn’t really expecting! After my bandages were taken off around my nipple they felt really sensitive and sore when I walked, like it was rubbing on my bra. I ended up using pieces of lint material in my bra to stop the rubbing which seemed to work. I wouldn’t say any of it was painful, just uncomfortable. Put it this way, I don’t regret having it done! I’ve updated my pictures and added a couple more as well. Hope it helps you prepare yourself! 🙂

Yes taking a bit longer to heal but I had a lift as well so triple whammy. The nips were super sensitive so like Jo I put cotton in them but just two weeks post op now and better now … I am most pleased with them but still gotta drop and crease.

Hi ladies I’m looking at having a areola reduction and new implants as these have dropped after just having a baby! Having a baby is so worth it but has done my areoles and implants no favours. I am worried about the areola reduction pain for some reason, don’t know why! Dr Traynor was my surgeon last time, got my first conceltatio non Saturday to get me booked in, hope you don’t mind me adding you all xx

I’ve also sent friends request, one of the reasons I hate my natural boobs! Hoping to have both a areola reduction as well as a BA x
