    Hey Girls!
I am super excited but really really nervous for my op. I keep worrying about how bad the recovery is.. like washing my hair, being able to drive & getting out of bed! Am I right to prepare myself for the worst or stop worrying? Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you xx

Im getting nervous too! Im 2 weeks today! Im actually almost trying to make myself nervous so i get over it by the time of the op lol.. i dont want to push it aside then come to the day and freak out… so im going through everything in my head.. im getting the train on the day on my own too.
Im oddly more nervous about the day than the recovery. All the not knowing bits n bobs. I have 2 kids too so its my partner juggling that and collecting me too and its a 2hour drive. Eak!
But still cant wait for some nice boobies! In that respect i literally cant wait!! Very excitesd to bikini and bra shop after, so thats defo a great bit to focus on! Good luck hun, all the best x x

Mine is 2 wks today and I’m freaking out already about EVERYTHING. Size, anaesthetic, complications and recovery. I’m staying over night at the hospital. Having unders. Going home to 3kids is going to be so hard, my youngest is 1 and she gets very clingy at times. My partner works long hours. It’s guna be a tough few weeks that’s for sure. Thank god for my sister in law.

I literally cannot wait to have some boobies. The suspense is almost killing me. Getting nervous this far before will hopefully help on the day xx

Hi all, I’m 4WPO and my recovery was actually pretty good. You wont be able to wash your hair for at least a week unless you have someone help wash it over the side of a bath, no driving for 1.5weeks+, getting out of bed is ok but morning boobs sucks! (They’re tighter in the morning so hurts more).

Best advice is to buy a weeks worth of ready meals, get all the items you might need off top shelves and within arms reach and set alarms for every 6 hours (even through the night) to take pain meds so you’re never between them. Better an alarm wakes you up, than pain!

Let me know if you have further questions 🙂 xxxxx

I’m 2 weeks post op now and can honestly say I found it a breeze! I was back to work on day 6 and drove then as well. Driving was a bit tough the first few days as felt tight every time I changed gear but only did short journeys so coped with it. After 2 weeks I honestly feel like I haven’t even had an operation! Worst part is Defo not being able to wash etc but a friend washed my hair over the bath so you could try that. Hope all goes well!
