HELP INFO NEEDED

Hi everyone
I’m due for my 1st consultation on the 14th of November.
I wanted to know if I can book my surgery on that day.
How lond after 1st consultation did you have your surgery.
Eager beaver here because I have a holiday in February and wanted to make sure I’m nicely healed by then xx

Hi Shereen,

You can book your surgery on the day. It will be a £1000 deposit if you decide to book before seeing the surgeon. My first consultation was the beginning of October and my surgical consultation was 2nd November. My surgery is booked for 5th January.

I booked my op date about a week after my first consultation as my surgeon only had 2 dates left in January so there was no way I was letting them go.

Whether or not you can book your op for the beginning of December really depends on what surgeon you go with, but bare in mind you will need an appointment for your pre-op too and you will need to get your medical history over to MYA. To save delays, I would suggest you get your brief summary from your GP as soon as you can xx

I’ve booked my surgery already for January and I’ve not met with the surgeon yet, I’m seeing him on the 2nd Dec. I’ve had an initial consultation via facetime. You should just call them ? xx

My first appointment with PC was mid August had my surgery on 25th October! You have to pay £1000 to secure your date without seeing the surgeon x

I went in for my consultation on 26th October. I saw my surgeon the following week. There has to be a 2 week period between then and the surgery. I’ve had my pre op appointment and I’m having surgery on 18th November. I had the option of the 10th December too xx
