Right so I’ve been unhappy for years downstairs and never even knew this surgery existed!!!! I am so embarrassed and scared and don’t even know what to expect because it’s not something we talk about freely unlike a breast enlargement! Can someone please advise me on what to expect? Hi Kim. I was exactly the same as you. I’ve been wanting this for years and I’ve had my initial consultation with a patient coordinator and I’ve met the surgeon today. I’m totally happy and hoping to have my procedure in the next 5 weeks. Go for it is my advice. I know what it’s like to feel like you do about there. I feel like I’ve had a weight lifted and will be starting a whole new chapter of my life!

My op is tomorrow and I know how you feel! If you have a meeting with your patient coordinator and surgeon they can tell you about what to expect for the results 🙂 I was nervous about he anesthetic and healing process however after asking my patient coordinator I felt really reassured x

It’s been six days since my op and everything has gone really well so far! The staff at the hospital were really lovley ando helpful. Swelling is still quite bad at the moment but it’s starting to improve. I would say if you have to take time off work 1 week isn’t enough as walking for long periods is still quite uncomfortable.
