Horrible stretch marks :(

I am 7 weeks post op today, and only recently this past week or two notices stretch marks and seem to be getting worse everyday! I’ve been using bio oil but not helping has anyone had the same problem ? And will they fade ? X

Hey Hun mine have faded loads since I started going back on the sunbeds , can barely notice them now x

Iv noticed mine more to . I’m using my boi oil 🙁 but its not helping . I think there my old marks becoming more noticeable with my new ones . A spray tan should cover it until summer . My spray tan girl said loads of barrier cream on the scars tho to stop them staining , I wounder would it stain the stretch marks ?

Keep using boo oil it’s worked wonders for stretch marks I had on my thighs! Especially if they are new ones put in on like 3 times a day 🙂 x

When did you girls start using bio oil, i think its 6 weeks post op isnt it. I started using it 2 weeks before my b/a to get my skin ready to be streched lol im only 6 days post op but worried ill get strech marks. Also when did you start going back on the sunbeds, im missing them so much i used to go on them a few times a week xx

im 3 months post op and got my stretch marks about 3weeks ago, im using bio oil once a day and coco butter once a day, hopefully they will go!

When did any of you start going back on the sunbeds and when did you start using the bio oil x

The nurse I saw told me not to use sunbeds for a YEAR after the op!!
But I think as long as you put a protection factor over the scars it should be ok.
I am going on holiday when I will be 10 weeks PO so will probably use a few sunbeds when I get to 8 weeks PO to prepare my skin for sun!!

Well i thought sunbeds would be ok if i wore a few boob tube tops covoureing my boobs and put plasters and suncream on but the nurse said no x

@jasmine1991 I’m using bio oil already on my boobs but avoiding the incisions and I’m only two weeks post op. nurse said it was okay as long as I avoided the stitch area xxx

Ok thanks misfion, im 9 days post op so i think i will start using it when i get to 2 weeks post op xx

There isnt anything you can do to prevent them or make them go… they will fade with time but thats it unfortunately. I got loads of my tummy when I had my daughter.. I have tried everything nothing works!

@jasmine1991 you can start now, I started when my strapping came off at one week check. Sorry I wasn’t clear in my last message 🙂 xxx

I have had 2 children and had horrible stretch marks as a result. I started using dermalmd stretch mark serum and within a couple of weeks, I saw results. Even my husband saw the difference. I highly recommend dermalmd.
