How long do you have to keep the Macom strap on for?

I’d like to know for those ladies that have or had the Macom strap after their surgery how long do you have to keep the Macom strap on 24/7 past the 2 week post op stage or longer then that where you just put it on of a night?

I had to have mine on 24/7 for 4 weeks. Towards the end I started taking it off for a bit during the day, but definitely keep it on for as long as you can and especially at night, it helped so much though so was worth it xx

Hi Kerrie, I was told to keep it on 24/7 for the first two weeks, then at night for another two weeks and then not to wear it at all. I’ve read lots of different conversations on here though where ladies have been told to keep them on for all sorts of timeframes so I suppose it depends on the individual. Like Lauren said though it helped so much, and I actually felt more safe and secure with it on even though it was uncomfortable xxx

@lauren @laura Jane thank you ladies for answering xx @jen I guess I will find out tomorrow at my 2nd post op appointment I don’t mind it as much now pretty much got used to it but as you said I guess it’s on how much they are dropping maybe? Xx
