I think there was a discussion about this some time earlier, but I just couldn’t find it.
I have to admit that I have been a bit naughty and probably shouldn’t have done it – but I’ve slept on my left side (slightly) last night.. also slightly elevated. I’m 2 weeks post-op and am really struggling with getting decent nights sleep having to sleep only one position. So this morning I woke up with slight pain/ discomfort, as usual. What’s unusual is that my left incision really hurt. I remember that I read here on forum someone having similar problem and they were advised (by a nurse) to take the sports bra off for couple of hours? The sports bra isn’t helping, it’s right on it and presses it, so I took it off and feel better. Do you think it’s alright to do this? My hubby took a look and said everything looks alright, but he’s no expert either… I don’t know if its because of last night, infection or normal now. Anyone had similar problem, please please share.
I took a pic and circled the painful area (left boob, outer side close to the armpit). hate the look of that bump.
