I am 17DPO, about a week after my op I noticed my left boob (your right) was still more swollen and looks bigger. I’m not in any pain but I am more aware of it and it aches in the morning.
Did anyone else’s take ages to drop or look a lot different? I know they can drop and fluff at different times but it doesn’t seem to have changed much in the last week so I’m starting to worry

Hi Charlotte, I’m 3.5 weeks post op and mine are very similar to yours. My left boob was bigger pre implants, but surgeon didn’t think I needed to different sizes (375cc in both) I have expressed my concerns to my PC but she reassures me that they will change. I’m hopeful but like you can’t help but worry. Who was your surgeon?

@ramla Hi Ramla, I’m really hoping they will change then and glad to hear other people are in the same boat as it probably means this is normal. Mine were pretty much identical pre implants. I mentioned it to the nurse at my post op on Tuesday but she didn’t really say much or voice any concerns but I’m still worrying. My surgeon was Gary Traynor. Who was yours?
Fingers crossed everything settles and they even out for us, they’re driving me mad!! xx

That is quite concerning to be honest it’s not a little difference it’s quite a lot. Not to alarm you but this happened to my friend 9 days post op and hers had capsulated, she had a bleed in her right boob. She had said it wasn’t painful just swollen a lot more than the other. All friends were telling her to wait but she rang the help line cause she had it in her gut feeling. If you really are concerned and in person it’s a lot bigger I would ring them, there’s no harm in getting a second opinion xx

Is it getting bigger? Or has it stayed the same size since your op but the other one has changed? If it’s getting bigger I would defo book in with your nurse and get it checked out xxx

Thank you for responding everyone, I phoned my clinic this morning and I am seeing the nurse and my pc has also said she’ll forward pics onto my surgeon so hopefully everything is okay and one is just taking longer to settle xx

Update: been to see the nurse who checked me over and everything is absolutely normal. One is just taking longer to settle but she said both will still change a lot.
Definitely not capsular contracture thankfully!! Xxx
