Late period after BA

Hey all! I had my surgery on 22nd July so almost 5 weeks ago. I’d had just finished my period at that time so I was expecting it a week ago. Anyone else found surgery has messed with their cycle? Thanks xx

It did to mine, as surgery causes extra stress on your body which can delay your periods. Once things settle down, they should return to normal.

I’m glad someone else has had that situation I was on my period the day of my operation and I was late the next cycle … which had now delayed the second one ?

Thanks for your replies, still no period here! I also read that surgery stresses the body – having no period is also stressing me haha! Hoping it starts soon!! xx
