Leaking scar

Hi girls I have a tiny hole in my incision which has been leaking fluid. I have no pain and no infection but it is still worrying. Apparently it’s caused by the disolvable stitches.

I had this after my BA, exact same as you although mine was right at the end of the incision, turned out it was a dissolvable stitch slightly poking out and as soon as that was ready to come out it healed right up but had to keep a plaster over it to stop it rubbing or getting attached to clothing when it dried… ouch lol just keep an eye on it xx

My hospital put iodine on mine I think it was and it dried and healed within a few days x x x

Mine started leaking in Thursday. They put iodine on it. It was ok for a day then started again this morning. Stitch from inside poking through.

I also had this at 11 weeks po. It was a yellowish lump right on my incision, no pain or anything. Anyway it burst the next morning so I went to nurse to have it checked., turned out to be a stitch abscess it’s just the bodies way of getting rid of it if it doesn’t dissolve . I’ve had no issues since.

Hi hun I would really get in touch with the mya nurse as I had the same thing oh it’s just leaking it will be fine how wrong was I surgeon said boob don’t leak inless you have a infection and I was 5wpo and had a infection in both boobs and was in hospital for 2 weeks on a drip and minus my new boobs please get checked by mya I nearly died x

I have been checked hun. I have had swabs and I’m being seen once a week. I would never leave something like that x

As it turns out I have to have the implant removed as the scar has gone apart and the implant is showing. I am proper gutted. Not sure if the other one is breaking down too. Have to go back on Thursday to have it removed.

Had one out today. Feel a little deflated in more ways than one but looking forward to having it fixed. He could not explain why it happened either as I had no infection but at least it won’t be long to have to wait xx

Bless you hun your emotions will be up and down I feel for you who was your surgeon and as he given you a indication as when you can have it put back x

My surgeon is Dr sleiter. He indicated depending on healing around end or March April xx

Bless you hun I had to wait 3 months too I found trying to keep yourself busy each helped speed it along did you read my story the breast forms I bought from m&s really helped, I imagine your emotions are all over the place at the minute it’s easier said than done but try not to think about it too much as it can take over your life and the time will drag x

Dr sleiter has ordered me a spacer the same size as my implant to top-level me out a bit xx
