Lifting your arms?

I haven’t had my surgery yet, but am really curious as to how long it is roughly before you can lift your arms enough to put a top or bra on over your head? I’m trying to buy some new clothes but not sure if I’d be able to get them on. Any help is appreciated x

I got some prestud shirts from matalan they came in very useful. I would say it was a good 2 weeks before I could pull on top. But I did have a reaction to the plasters they place over, so I was in pain for the first 2 weeks xxx

I wore normal tops from day 3 xx

I’ve wore normal tops since op. (I had overs, may be different for under muscle) xx

I can lift my arms fine since day one. Can tie my hair up etc. I just have real trouble standing up straight. My boobs put too much pressure on my incitikns and it’s painful! I just cup them with my hands when I need to use the loo. I’ve still got my strapping on too god knows what it will be like once that’s off! Xx
