Hi girls, been reading through your posts and seeing your pictures and your all progressing great – huge boob envy going on here!!
I’ve been researching bas since the beginning of the year but due to my upcoming wedding funds have been a little tight.
Anyway, my question is are any of you ladies from North East England and which hospital did you go to for your op?

Hi, I’ve been to Newcastle clinic for initial consultation and also seeing my surgeon there. I have to go to Preston for the surgery. You can be a day patient or have an overnight stay. I don’t know check in time frames for either option yet, but if a day patient you must stay within 30 minutes of the hospital over night after surgery incase you need to return. I am looking into overnight, travelling down alone on the train and my husband collecting me the next day otherwise I’m guessing it will be two nights in a hotel or the taxi service is £250 extra. Hope this helps 🙂

Pretty crap with geography but i live near Leeds and had clinic there and surgery was in Doncaster with Mr kazzazi I was a day case and had local sedation. Had a fab surgery day and great recovery. They advise to be within an hour of the hospital but I know for some girls this is impossible and have had 2-3 hour drives home. Not all hospitals offer over night stays.
My only advise is book to see a patient consultant and she can give you your choices of surgeons and locations.

I’m the same as Stacey. I’ve had my first consultation, meeting with the surgeon, and meeting with the nurse at the Newcastle clinic. My op is the 11th Sep so I’m travelling downtown the Preston hospital in the car on the day (probably depending on my admission time really) for my surgery. I’ll be a day case if everything is okay, staying in a hotel over night then going home the next day x

I’ve got my initial consultation on Thursday at the Newcastle clinic. The Preston hospital is probably going to be my closest too (I live just near Middlesbrough). Can I ask who your surgeons are? @anna @staycey
