Making appointments

Does anyone else find it really hard making appointments with mya..i work full time and struggled enough getting appointments pre-op for saturdays etc and travelled all over..Now im post op its even worse none of the surgeons do saturdays and are all operating on fridays..The only days i can make it i work for a very strict company and cant get time off during work time other than holidays that are booked a long time in advance i work in a very busy nursery so cant just take time off. Does any one else find this or is it just me?

Yes ive found this a problem too, i had my ba in august went and saw nurse for check up on saturdays which was ok, i still havent had chance to see my surgeon MrKhan (went with transform), ive got an appt in feb but with my job (childminder) and my 3 kids im struggling to get time off work. Is it necessary to see surgeon after your ba and how many times do you need to have check ups after surgery?

You will have to tell them you are going to the doctors and then there is nothing they can say about it as they have to let you go. X x

I never had any probs my pc always tried to arrange appointments fir when I was available however my surgeon does work later in the eve can you not talk to your pc and see what can be done for you x

Iv spoke to lots of people and nobody seems to be interested..i also have a stitch that hasnt dissolved and rung my mya nurse and she said if it does not go in a week then to pop back in to get it taken out but now iv been trying to ring her and she doesnt worjk there anymore and theres only a nurse in once a week on select hours and i work in a nursery baby unit and work long hours all week so im never going to be able to go now! x

Sorry Hun I know how hard it is to get time off you must be getting stressed with all this I don’t know what to suggest can’t they do a home visit or something as a one off x

Theyv just said i dont know what you can do im not very happy seeing as i paid out all that money and nobody seems to be bothered whether i see somebody or not..also im suppoed to be going back to see the surgeon but again they dont work weekends so i cant go and see them either i really dont know what to do x

well on the website it says that mya have appointments for weekends and evenings so why can i never get one?
