    I bought an m+s post op surgical bra the high impact one… but my surgeon doesnt like them because it pushes them up but I don’t quite understand how a surgical sports bra can push them up? It’s so much more comfortable and supportive than my mya bra.

    Me too I’ve been wearing mine more now as I feel my macom bra is getting loose and won’t be doing the job properly. It’s just the sports bra is hard to hide under blouses for work 🙁 x

    I was going to buy the m&s ones as well. I read that as long as the straps are thick and it’s right enough to hold your new boobs without crushing them any type of bra is fine.

    Did everyone buy a mya bra to begin with?

    I have the zip front m&s one and my nurse and surgeon were happy for me to use it post surgery with no mention of it pushing the implants up. Also doesn’t feel like they are being pushed up when wearing it, if anything I feel like I get more support wearing the m&s one than the Mya one. Must be a surgeon personal preference maybe?

    Do you think it depends where you had the implants? For those who surgeons said it pushes them did you have unders/overs? For those who’s surgeon say it’s fine did you have unders/overs? Maybe that has an impact??
    I had unders so not going to risk it until I find out from my surgeon! Cx

    @cgargano91 Probably best to change it if they’re not happy but sounds as though it just feels supportive! Strange! I’ve message you back Hun 🙂 xx

    @mae14 I had Partials and took it with me on surgery day and nurse commented what a good bra it was.. however as I wear the backsize bigger than normal I don’t feel it pushes me up 🙂 xx

    @hannah I get my strapping off on Tuesday so will take it with me and ask about it then I reckon! I’m was like a 34a/b pre op do with the sports bra I ordered a 38DD lol so it should be plenty big enough! I’ve still got two other post op bras to wear which aren’t like the sport style ones so if my surgeon not happy with it then it’s not end of world 🙂

    I didn’t actually get told by my surgeon but one of the other girls who had the same surgeon got told off for having it, she had overs. I have partials but I’m going to try a band size up then see. X

    @mae14 yeah definitely take it with you and ask their opinion on it :). I wore it to my nurses appointment 7DPO and she never said anything to me. Xx

    @cgargano91
    Definitely try the band size up, I also have a 32 which is quite snug, I feel a lot more comfortable in the 34 ATM xx

    Yesterday I had my strapping removed and I wore the high impact M&s sport bra with front zip and I love it and my PC and 2 nurses told they are good! I feel really good support and comfy! Planning to buy another one x

    My nurse recommended the m&s one, I’ve found it the most comfortable I don’t think it pushes them up xx
