Right, this isn’t easy. I normally keep this beast very well hidden but here it is for you all to see! Haha. I guess i want people to see just how terrible my tummy is and why I really need a TT. I have lost over 6 stone since having my daughter 3.5 years ago and I’ve been left with a big hanging belly and muscle separation. My surgeon has confirmed that there is little more I can do to improve things with diet and exercise.

Thanks Emma. Agreed my quality of skin is still quite good, and minimal stretch marks…it’s the HANG and the SMILE that I have problems with. Plus my abdominal muscles don’t hold my internal organs in properly because of the split. YUCK!!

Unfortunately they don’t let us discuss prices on here. I am having a full tummy tuck and 2 hours of vaser lipo to smooth down my hips and waist. xx

It will be the best thing you could have done:) remember that when things gets really tough. When is your surgery? I’m almost 10 months post op and still the novelty hasn’t worn off.

    Hi Zowie

I had my op 9 days ago and I’m doing fine. I’m pretty sore but it’s no way as bad as a c-section. I’m very pleased with my results so far. I’ve added a photo which shows me begone the op and at 6 days post op xx

Hi Nina, Your tummy looks amazing. I’m booked in for September 12th, really excited but scared too. Glad it’s going well for you. How has the pain been xx

Hi there your results look amazing. I had my operation on Tuesday this week and I am wondering how long did you keep your support garment on for ? I am finding this very uncomfortable and want to change it to support knickers instead. any advise you can give me would be appreciated 🙂 x

    Thanks Gemma and Emma

I have been told to wear my compression garment for 6 weeks, so I have another 3 weeks to go. My original garment was too small and was damaging me so I wore Spanx and my Macom binder for a few days until MYA got me a larger garment. It’s horrible i know but I guess we just have to put up with it.

I have an infection in my incision at the moment so I’m back on antibiotics and strong painkillers. Dreading going back to work tomorrow! X

Hope you don’t mind me writing, the pictures look amazing!
I’m just at the early stages of researching who would be best to perform a full tummy tuck on me!
I also have no muscle tone and an overhang!
My question is, how long will I need off work?
    Thanks in advance

Thank you Debbie. It’s getting flatter by the day as the swelling goes down 🙂

You are advised to take three weeks off work but if you have a physical job you may need to take more. It’s a big operation and four weeks on it’s still very sore and numb in places. It will be a long time before I can lift anything heavy or stretch to reach things. I am so pleased I did this though xx

Hi Nina. I also had a tummy tuck and breast augmentation on the 25th August . I had my 1 week check up today and I’m healing very well said the surgeon. I had my drain taken out too! I’m still very swollen and not standing 100% straight yet. If you fancy a chat to update me that would be lovely. As I don’t know anyone else who’s had one. Xx

Thank you for replying, I do have a physical job and am thinking maybe if I booked two weeks off work I would have to then maybe have two weeks sick leave and then go from there! Did you finance it all at one too? And how are you feeling now?

Hi Chelsea, I’ve sent you a friend request 🙂

Hi Debbie, yes I paid for the op upfront without finance. I still feel quite tight and sore but it’s fine and having a flat tummy totally makes up for any discomfort I have. I often get a burning sensation where I had vaser lipo which is apparently because the nerves get stretches during the procedure. This can take 6-9 months to resolve but once again it’s totally worth it 🙂 x

Oh no I hope you are okay though ;( yeah the garments are so tight I found it hard to breath properly so I swapped for span . I got told off though by my nurse so I’m back with the garment . just taking it off for weddings etc xx
