Hi Lisa I am getting there! Can go back to the gym this weekend but only to do light cardio. Feels good to be showering again! My girls still feel a bit alien I just think it takes time and getting used to them. How are you feeling now? Are you managing the pain ok? How are you finding sleeping upright? I hated it! Do you have to wear a breast band? I hated that too! Xx

Omg! I hope my boobs will look that great!
So stressed already and theres no need as I need to wait till 6th Feb.
How it is with independency? I mean, can you make yourself a cup of tea? What bra have you gone for? Shall I take sliggtly bigger due to swelling? You mentioned toilet troubles, is it pulling panties back up a problem or is it something else? I have so many questions that my PC wont answer all she said “you’ll be fine”. That doesnt do anything to me! Can you help ladies?

Hi Pauline ….. I was initially worried about the pain and breathing ….. didn’t need to have been that’s been fine just sore tight and bruised feeling really,?it’s been the general daily stuff I’ve struggled doing (like going to the toilet) first few days couldn’t get my clothing up n down etc getting up and off settee from sleeping as I stiffen up so much and its painful if I try to use my hands to push up etc so I have to bum shuffle instead …. as for making a cup of tea etc I’ve been lucky enough to have my hubby or grown up kids to do it for me ….. Ive just basically sat / laid up right on sofa chilled watched tv etc for 4 days constantly kept falling to sleep as well ???????? ….. but I don’t feel guilty (would normally) because I know my body is still recovering and has not got much strength at the minute ….. hope this helps you Pauline xx

Thank you Lisa, that is extremely helpful.
    Can I add you?
I am weird person. I wont let anyone help me unless I cant do it myself. It will be a nightmare for my partner. Just ordered 2 bras from shop, zip up at front option is a big yes I heard. Bought few books for my kindle and got some series to catch up on, so entertainment is guaranteed. Gonna have lovely bath before op, so I wont miss it for few days, its the lack of shower that will drive me mad. I never fell asleep on back, always on side so that would be an issue.
If you all done it, so will I. Bye bye 34 saggy b

Hi Chloe yeah swelling seems to be the norm

Hi Pauline the zip up at front bras are the better ones so you can do it yourself ….. just see how much you can do for yourself afterwards as everyone is different ….. I’m normally an ultra clean person who likes my hair n makeup on etc but At the minute I really don’t care how I look ….. I’ve been taking a shallow bath but have left my hair alone (it looks a right mess ????????) I really don’t feel upto doing it plus I was told not to lift my arms above shoulder level which I would have to to dry it etc ….. sleeping on your backs is the worst for me ….. you wake up like an irioning board and it burns n stings just use as many pillows and just get as comfy as you can ….. I got myself one of those v pillows but only used it for the first few nights …… Pauline are you having unders or overs ? Area you having an uplift as well ? xx

Hi Pauline if you are having overs the pain and recovery should be less for you … as apparently unders are worse than overs !!!
I think I’ve turned a corner today ….. felt more like myself not took any pain killers and not felt as tired …. still just mulled around the house tho …. going to see how my stitches look tomoro scared they going to look worse than I anticipate them to be x I had uplift with 275cc unders xx

Jo have you been measured yet? They are a really good size.

Paulina everything is manageable….aslong as it doesn’t involve your arms going past shoulder height. I had my operation on the Thursday evening and went back to driving on Sunday. I went straight back into doing the majority of things just a little slower. Not going to lie sleeping is a bloody pain, I’m used to sleeping on my side or belly so lying on my back was a nightmare (all worth it though). You will be fine don’t stress 🙂 xx

Lisa, are you there? How you feeling?
Thanks K.MULL for that, really need to do stuff myself, some kind of obsession?!
The quicker I get back to do my stuff the better. How long to sleep up? Did any of you had accident of rolling to the side?

I bet 🙂 I know what you mean I’m the same, you know the way you want things done and it easier doing it yourself lol. For the first couple of nights I slept upright but then as the days went on I would start upright I would end up flat. I would kind of go slightly on my side but because of the tightness you know when you at that angle. I sleep on my side now and have been for about 3 weeks, Sometimes it’s not the most comfortable position. X

K.MULL, I can imagine so. Thanks for all the info:) feeling like I gonna do stuff no matter what. How are you feeling? Hope you heal well and soon, you’ll just be applying bio oil and laugh at what you’ve been through was nothing and all worth it:)

    Hi Lisa
I was just wondering what’s up with you:) how are you healing? All good?
Wow, thanks for remebering;) yeah, I am stressed. After tomorrow one more week!!!

Gosh, hope he will be able to fit 375cc in. It turned out, I have lots of skin, so once its cut out, there will not be much less and I am gasping for box standard m&s 34d or dd cup. Otherwise, Ill get c with 350cc which still will be ok, but as you know, boobs are great when full. I am wide chested woman so I can carry up to E easy and it looks natural anyway. I tried bras in M&S and I know where I want to be. I just gonna wait and see what dr Giannitrapani say.

Wow Pauline 375cc !!! U lucky thing he wouldn’t put me anything over than 275 cc mind you I did have quite a bit to work with I suppose (before the uplift)
Omg you must be soooo excited and counting the days down now ….. you’ll have to keep us all posted after it’s done ….. and take it easy ….. try and listen to your body as it will let you know if you doing too much etc xx

    OMG THESE LOOK AMAZING!
is this just an uplift or an uplift with implants?
I had my consultation with Dr Traynor and he advised me AGAINST implants and said I just need an uplift as implants may be too heavy and may make my boobs sag again… but I thought an uplift with small implants would give them more shape and fill them out? Xx

@niamh I was told the same thing, uplift but advised not to have implants, I’m intrigued to know wether even the smallest implant would still make the natural breast sag as much as going bigger. I know that’s probably a stupid question!

To be honest, if I had anything bigger than c cup, I wouldnt bother with implants. I have 34b, saggy to the point, if surgeon will cut skin out, Ill be a cup:/ being flatchested is not happy feeling. I was size 18 with e cup, then I lost it all to size 8 and my boobs feel and look like deflated baloons:/ I would listen to surgeon if I were you ladies. Just an uplift, gives you desired results without risking it to come back in 2 years to go through same shit. If you like pain then be my guest, but I hate it and I dont cope well with pain. Your body, your choice, but dont moan here that 2 years later, you need an uplift…
