Well, I thought I can post my own experience in one topic…

I thought about implants for a while… Well…a year to be exact. Back in 2014, I was size 18, with nice, but a bit saggy 38E… Lost my wait to size 8, but something wasn’t right, my boobs shrunk leaving massive sack of skin, I can push into 34B bra. I felt amazing with my new body, but getting undressed… big issue!
I made my mind up, saved for a year and took a loan in bank to make my dream come true, to have nice and firm boobies like most of 27yo girls.
Booked consultation at MYA, as I was recommended by friend of my friend.
Thats how I met Aimee, my patient coordinator in Leeds clinic. We checked sizes and tried that famous “instant boob” bra as I call it. Paid my deposit then to stop me from changing my mind… Date set for 29th December..
Aimee was excited as I was:)
I was assigned to dr Mounir for my first consultation. My inpression? Really friendly, talk you into details surgeon with perfect attitude.
Unfortunately, he declined my operation as I needed an uplift too. Wow, I never expected that, thought that implant will fill the gap and that’s it, but unfortunatelly not;(
I was assigned to Dr Giannitrapani for my consultation.
Dr Giannitrapani gave me a bit colder and to the point approach, which I dont mind at at, if the job is going to be done right:)
We confirmed the sizes and measurements of distance between collar bones and niples. Then again, a problem with dates… we changed it for 6th Feb… hurrah!!!
Communication with Aimee was a lot poorer, as if she gave up on me or something:(
I was told to stop smoking now. They do nicotine level tests in hospitals on patiens and when it comes positive, your op is cancelled and you are covering the cost of hospital bed. So I stopped completly, cold turkey with 0%nicotine vapes.
Since it was just before Christmas, I had long to go, but I promissed myself that great boobs are more important than fags, so that helped me a lot.
Unfirtunately, new years eve, too much to drink and smoking friends and…. I had a half of cigarette:( I thought I gonna die, when I realised what I done. Since then, not even one to cheat.
Found out that m&s does post surgery sport bras with sip at the front, so not knowing what size I gonna end up with and with experiences of some of the ladies here( boobs do swell a lot), I ordered 34D, 34DD and 34E just in case. I can always return them as I only ordered them a week ago.
All that waiting… nurse did my swaps last week and I am ready, ready for tomorrow!
    Will write in details:)

Admission time has been set for 11am on 6.2.2018.
Arrived in front of the clinic on 10am. With an hour to spare, I had a nap while my partner made sure, he disturbs with facebook movies as much as he can.
10.30am, I recieved phonecall from one of the nurses asking if I arrived yet, to whick I replied yes and I can come through now.
First Trust Hospital in Preston doesnt look like hospital from the outside. Inside, all staff it doing their best to make you feel welcome. They showed me to the room, hospital bed, bathroom…thats all I need.
Dr Giannitrapani wanted to have a last check and last words with me before (in 2.30h later) take me to theatre. At this stage, I had all drawings on me as dr Andrea had to operate on someone else too.
Tests started. Pregnancy, oxygen and general health. I think about 7 people walked into my room altogether.
Everyone for a different purpose. Then at 1pm was my time to go.
Theatre is not big, small bed in the middle with leg massager (prevents blood cloth) and all breathing equipment.
Time for cannula and your dizziness liquids before they apply proper anastetic. You have no idea wether it is oxygen or something else making you dizzy. Before you have time to realise, you are awake again! So, I have no idea how, one of my bras was already on me LOL. They asked me to move from that bed into mine and I gone to sleep again. After some time, I got awake fir few mins so I rang family to let them know im ok and went back to sleep.
I was brought a post op snack of some toast for which I wanted to give nurses a kiss, I was so hungry:/
Strap on my boobies started biting into me, so I asked nurses if they can make it looser a bit. It turned out that bra is too small (swallen boobies) and the strap was really too tight as I had almost purple line on the top of each boobie. I felt hell lot better after that;) then dr Giannitrapani visited me again and I was told off not to move my arms at this stage, as I am moving them way too much. I have (unfortunately) under muscle , big 375cc in both of my boobies and massive correction of my right breast with nipple.

Bed time, so I layed down on my bed, upright, with sore chest but I made it…

I will post more details as days pass by, so you all will be up to date:)

I have before and after pictures ti upload, hope its gonna work

They wake you up all night to check your blood pressure. I heard other girls pressing nurse buttons like nobodys business, I was fine, no unbareble pain, just that strap again.

Woke up about 5.30am, breathing not easy due to strap that moved too low. Blood ressure checked, jug of fresh water and visit from another doctor that just went through every step of recovery with me.
Breakfast, oh yeah! Toasts with butter, orange and coffee, yum yum:)
After breakfast, I had another visit from Dr Giannitrapani. Was told off again for moving my arms:/ well, what can I do when I dont feel as much pain as other patients? He was suprised, that I moved my arms, but didn’t have any bleeding, for which we were both happy. He signed some papers and he gone. Time to brush my teeth( I recommed you all electric toothbrush, well worth it as you don’t have to move your arms), wipe my face with face wipes and get dressed. Top was a challenge so I buzzed nurse who even brushed my hair and tied it up, how handy:) said my thank you and out of nowhere, I layed on bed and fell asleep.
Same female doctor came back, signed my papers, handled me letter to my gp and my antibiotics and painkillers. I was out by 10am and my other half picked me up.
I dont know how well, would you manage your way home, mine from Preston to Wakefield was bumpy (not pleasant at all).
I arrived home, got undressed, had soup and vape and pain came to me:( 2 tablets of ibuprofen 20mins rest and I am fine;)
Rang to arrange my first post operation visit next tuesday with nurse Donna. She is lovely:)
Tried to upload picture of my boobs now, but it doesnt allow me. I will have a play with picture and upload now:)

Pain began last evening, not as much in my new boobies, but more of chest pain. Took ibuprofen and after 20mins, it was only a bit uncomfortable.
I woke up 3.45am with pain I can not describe. Back, side of ribs, underarms, chest and stiches, all at the same time. Thought my boobs gonna expload any minute and implants will slam against the floor. Took codein tablet, glass of water and had a bit of the walk around the house. When pain eased a bit, I went back in bed and started counting in hope that sleep will come. Not long after, I fell asleep and woke up after 6am, had a bit of lay in as I couldnt get out of bed. When I managed, I went to get my bowl of cereals, coffee and had my antibiotics with pain relief codein. All went well. Pain is bareble now and I only hope it won’t get worse. Just as an advice, dont move your arms too much as it has an affect at night. I was a bit cold last night and shivers I had didn’t help at all:(

Today, I had my first post op visit to nurse Donna in my Leeds clinic. She is very nice, can not say a bad thing about her.
We took all dressings off to have a look how I heal.
Wow! I was expecting a worse view than that, honestly, so neat and clean. I didn’t have much of post op bleed, but it happends that some people bleed more, some like me, a drop, some other people’s dressings are clean.
Took a photo of my boobs now, just to let you all know, my boobs will change a lot, dont get scared.
I was told I heal suprisingly well, might be my genes, so dont expect same results on you.
We changes dressings for clean, had a little chat about strap being too big, despite her ordering medium, I got extra large in Preston:/ I was free to go in short of 15mins. Next appointment booked for next week to follow observation of my wounds and to change dressings again.

I’ve been walking out for vape since day one, when I got home, so now, walking anywhere is easy:) bet its just me being really weird… wasnt tired as such, more of a back discomfort as I am still getting used to the weight of them.
Feeling just like I normally feel before period, just tension in my boobies and still big belly. Sleeping upright has impact on my bottom being sore, really hate it, just like everyone else…
Bless you, I bet now, you are feeling amazing and back to normal;) hows you?

    Had my stiches off yesterday;)
Mine started grow into me, so nurse Donna had a bit of difficulty with removing them (I do heal way too well). She said that I shouldn’t feel any pain, but to be honest, as stiches grew so badly into my boobs, it did hurt. I had these ” electric shocks” since I was 5daus post op and they only intencified. I can describe it as little niddle or sharp pinches. Nothing painful but little annoying. Now, I need to wait 2 days and I can have a shower! I can not wait for it! I still need dressings on till Saturday, but after that I am fine. Still sports bra 24/7 and still strap till 6th March. I am allowed to sleep flat now, but still straight, at least my bum wont be as tender:) will post a picture after shower:)

3 weeks now, most of my scabs came off already. Boobies started to drop nicely and my nipples react to cold almost as they were before. One area of my no longer asemetric breast is still numb, but still having plenty of these pinches/electric shocks so hoping that it’ll get back to normal. As advised, I can remove my band on 6th March and I am getting really excited about that. Another appointment with nurse Donna booked for end of March and can not wait to get back to work after that. That “holiday” is thaking way too long:/
Here is my pic of my boobies now:)
