    Hi all,

Over the last week I have developed a new burning pain in my left boob which is worst on lying down but today it’s so bad like behind my nipple but quite deep in my boob.
Is it normal to be having new types of pains? I didn’t really suffer from pain at all for 2 weeks so it’s strange that I have this now and it’s like just a constant burn on the inside rather than anything to do with stretched skin xx

Completely normal at this stage! It’d just your nerves repairing themselves. I am just under 3 weeks post op and have started to get shooting pains in my right boob, which I’m glad about actually because my left nipple sensation came back almost immediately and I’ve just been waiting for my right to catch up xx

    Thanks for your reply 🙂
I did think maybe it’s just nerve pain but I wasn’t sure because people describe that as shooting pains whereas this is constant and. burning and sometimes feels like a weird pulling feeling when I move my head or arm.
You start to think all kinds of things like is it my body rejecting the implant Or have I got a trapped nerve but fingers crossed it’s gone soon cause it’s horrible! Xx

I think it’s so normal to think the worst because we’ve never experienced pains/ sensations like this before so it’s so difficult to tell what’s normal and what we should be concerned about! For the whole of the first week post op I was almost certain that my left incision site had gotten infected because it was SO painful whereas my right had no pain at all. It always felt sore, and like it was pulling, and I was honestly prepared for the worst, and then I saw my nurse who said I was healing nicely lol. Now 2 weeks later I don’t feel it at all, just my nipples are really sensitive now and I’m still getting shooting pains xx
