I’m researching having a breast uplift only
What I have read all sounds very promising and I think I would really benefit from it emotionally as I’m so embarrassed with my saggy boobs
However I need a approx figure as I have no idea what it costs
I’ve read people go abroad as so much cheaper ???
Can anyone help or advise x

    Hi Kirsty,
I am the same – wanting an uplift.
I would recommend booking a free consultation. After doing so much research over the years I booked to have one and I went on Friday. I feel a lot more at ease with what I want, the surgery, cost ect. I’ve booked to see the surgeon in July for a further consultation.
Depending what you would need they can give you an estimate price.
With going abroad, I also looked into this as it was cheaper but it’s not really a massive amount cheaper, especially when you consider the risks. You would also have to consider pre and post op travel costs.
If anything was to go wrong when you returned home you may be reluctant to travel back for further treatment.
I hope this has helped a little! xx

I was the same about traveling abroad, the cost seemed so much lower until you start thinking about pre & post op. My husband said if I’m having it done I need the best in the uk and not some Turkish clinic which may not be at the same standards as over here.
I have wanted my uplift for 8 years after having our second daughter, I breastfed both which felt great at the time but I’m left with tubular shaped breasts that fall out of almost every bra. I took a new job starting in August so thought rather than taking time off on the sick I’d do it between jobs. I made that first appointment in April, Julie the PC at Newcastle went through everything, including costs. My uplift is £6000, £500 deposit on the initial consultantion day and the rest to be paid 8 weeks before surgery. They also do a finance package but getting a loan over 4 years will cost you £100 a month if you have good credit.
I’ve never felt more excited at this point. I met the surgeon Dr Gary Traynor whom told me exactly what I would benefit from and left the ball in my court. I came straight out on a high and booked my surgery and pre op appointment. Louise the mya nurse up at Newcastle is the most lovely person who went through every detail and took swabs, bloods, and pictures ready for surgery, she will be there throughout the mya experience. I hope this helps in some way, these are just my feelings on the experience I have had so far.

    Hi Alex,
That’s great! When is your surgery booked for? I booked to see the surgeon in a couple of weeks. I’ve only had my first consultation but I’ve been so happy with the experience so far! x

My op is booked for 11th July eek!
I’m so excited now, have you booked a date for the op or are you doing the shop around and see who you like best?
My only issue (if I could even call it that) would be that the hospital is in Preston. My husband needs to stay in a hotel and come back for me the next day then it’s a 2 1/2 hour drive home. x
