OMG

So I’m 14 days po tomorrow x had 300cc hp unders x been having wierd pains at the top so spoke to the nurse today only to find out I should have had a band but they didn’t give me one x I’m now worried incase some think may go wrong x

Why does she think you needed a band? The pains could just be your nerves reconnecting xx

She said you have to have one if you have under the muscle x

I wouldn’t panic I had partials and didn’t have a band and I no ppl that had understood and didn’t have oneits Just surgeons preference but it won’t cause problems if you haven’t had one x

I had overs but I’ve seen some girls on here that have had unders that haven’t had a band xx think it’s all on the surgeons opinions whether they want you to wear a band or not don’t panic xxx

I’ve been told that it’s the surgeon that makes the decision whether you need one or not.
I’m having unders and I’ve been told that if I don’t get given a band I shouldn’t panic as it’s not essential for everyone.
You’re not the first person to post on here panicking about not having been given a band. I do get a little cross that your nurse would start saying what you should and shouldn’t have had! It’s your surgeon who should be telling you not the nurse, and the nurse should be discussing things with your surgeon before saying what should or should not have been done .
Your nurse should not be filling your head with worry and panic without consulting your surgeon for more information and reasons behind his/her decision not to give you a band.

You don’t have to have one if you’ve had unders. As above it’s surgeons preference babe. If you needed one you’d of had one. She shouldn’t be saying things like that too worry you unnecessary x
