I had textured implants under the muscle 3.5 weeks ago. Surgeon told me I had slight asymmetry before but nothing to worry about so had 320ccs in both. Since the first week I’ve noticed my right is bigger than my left. Nurse told me to give it time but I’m so worried that this is how they will be now. I’m so happy with the shape etc but one side is bigger than the other and I can see it in clothes! Anyone had a similar experience? Will they end up the same size or at least closer in size?

I’m in exactly the same boat. Was told I have asymmetry too but not enough to have different sizes. I’m 3wks po today.

I’m trying to stay positive and know that it’s still early days. I’ve read mixed reviews on here some people have said its evened out and is just because the muscle on that side is tighter. Others have said its stayed that way.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed ??

Just realised I replied to you on my post too ? it’s nice to have someone in the same boat although I wish neither of us were in it.
Just gotta remember it’s still early days.
I’ll tag you in some posts I’ve seen about different sizes and their experiences

@shannon I feel exactly the same as you. It’s getting me down so much as when I wear clothes I can really see the difference in size. I never noticed asymmetry before and the surgeon said it was minor so didn’t even think this would happen and now I’m so worried they will stay this way. I’ve read that textured implants don’t drop very much either. Hopefully we both get the result we want. Keep me updated on how yours are x

Try not to let it get you down (easier said than done).

I’m gonna wear loose clothing for the next couple weeks and try not to look at them and hopefully when I have my next post op I’ll notice a difference.

Try and take pics too, I think we get so used to looking at them every day we dont notice the changes they’ve gone through already.

& Yes pls keep me updated on yours too! Feel free to private message me ?

I’m 12 weeks post op today… I still see them change week by week… up u till about 10 weeks one sat higher than the other… They looked so odd for about 6-8 weeks ?… They say it can take up for 6 months for overs and 12 months for unders to see the full affect… I’ll try and upload a picture of before and 6 weeks…
The next photo is at about 10 weeks.. xx

@amy they look really good! Are you happy with them? Mine don’t sit at different heights mine are exactly the same place just one is bigger. My smaller one is soo much tighter underneath as well it feels as if the muscle has been stitched tightly together it’s so uncomfortable ?

Thank you 🙂 the muscles can relax at didn’t stages… one of mine was bigger for a while.. now they are both soft and the same size.. well there’s probably the tiniest difference but really not noticeable.. It will loosen up… give it another couple of weeks :-)..
Yeah I’m really happy with them.. they are starting to look really natural now 🙂 xx

You might be right about them stitching the muscle tighter on the smaller one as when I stretch I feel the smaller one pull and the other nothing. Also not sure if it was tighter to start with because it’s my dominant hand side?

Wish there was a way to speed up the muscles relaxing!!

Massaging them helps.. massage upwards for 5-10 minutes a day… helps them drop and relax the muscle apparently… That’s what my surgeon said anyway xx

I didn’t think that they did stitch the muscle I thought they only stitched the skin back after though? My smaller one isn’t my dominant side so I’m hoping it’s just where it needs more stretching but I’m tempted to call the nurse tomorrow. Interesting that we both have the same issues though

I’m clearly a doughnut lol it sounded like a logical reason at the time ?.

I’ve got an appt with my surgeon in 10 days & I’m gonna discuss it with her too.
I’m sure it is all normal just good to have some reassurance x

I’m only just over a week post Op and I find this problem already, I thought I was happy but now I’m really not sure. I had asymmetry before hand also but my surgeon said to have the same size implant in each. I’ve had 300CC and I was about a 32 A before. I was hoping for a D but I think I’ll be a C. If they stay how they are I really don’t know what I can do about it because they are so odd! And part of my thinks I should have had one implant a bigger size.

I just replied to your post @jordan. Yours look similar to mine just slightly smaller. I can’t seem to upload a pic to show you. Let’s all hope ours even out!

I wasn’t with Mya but have been able to upload pics now. No I didn’t, they’re pretty tight everywhere now so I’m just trying to ignore it and hope it goes away eventually

It doesnt look as obvious in these pictures but its noticeable in real life and especially when wearing clothes. It’s the left if you’re looking at the picture (my right). Looking from where the tape is at the bottom you can tell.

We might just be being really critical of ourselves because I thought yours looked good so far ?

I’m getting occasional aching / shooting pains in the smaller one, I’m hoping this is the muscle stretching and relaxing.

I’ve got my fingers crossed for the both of us, let me know how you get on ?

Shannon I think they look amazing! I honestly can’t tell that one is smaller at all in those photos!
I think we are being critical. I’m getting more used to the size difference now and just trying to love them as they’re so much better than they were before lol.
I’ve still got this tight feeling that is in the smaller one though, it’s like inside at the bottom. I’m going to give it another week and if it doesn’t ease up then I’m going to call the nurse.

    Thank you ??.

We will get there in the end, just need to be patient I guess and wait for the muscles to relax.
Some people have said 3 months for drop so we have a long way to go!
