OP BOOKED – 8 weeks before I go on holiday!

Hi girls,

Does anyone know how long you have to wear the post op bras for? My PC has advised me I’ll be fine to have my op 8 weeks before I go on holiday however I’m wondering will I still have to wear a post op bra then? And will I be able to get in the pool etc?

Hiya hun I am not with MYA but .y surgeon told me I have to wear my post op bra day and night for 6 weeks then another 6 weeks just at night I do think it varies from surgeon to surgeon though as each has their own preferences but I’m sure you will be fine to go I to the sea I think it’s 6 weeks till you can properly soak in a bath etc so you should be fine hope this helps hun xxx

I’m 8 weeks post op and I’m totally fine my stitches have healed so well and iv wore bras i defiantly think you’ll be okay I think your aloud to go swimming in Pools at 6 weeks , mine are even soft like real boobs too xxx

Hi Hun you will be fine by 8 weeks post op not to wear your post op bra durIng the day altho you probs still be advised to Wear one still on a night as I was I got mine done 7 weeks befor my wedding and I was fine on my wedding day xxx
