    Hello ladies,
Just curious about the overnight stay in hospital. Whenever I’ve discussed price with my PC she always States “rhinoplasty and overnight stay”‘ so I presume I’m paying separately for this and it’s not included in the price of the surgery? Does anyone know if it is absolutely vital to stay the night? Has anyone home home after? I’d much prefer my own bed!
    🙂 thanks xx

It’s not usually included in the price and isn’t compulsory as far as I know. I think the rule is you have to either stay overnight or be within an hour of the hospital for the first night in the unlikely event something were to happen and you had to go back. It was going to cost me around an extra £ for an overnight stay but I’ve chosen to stay in a nearby hotel instead as its a few hours away from my home and would rather be in a hotel with my partner than hospital room by myself haha. I think most people are only day cases as far as I’ve seen 🙂 xx

That’s great thank you for that, I’ve never even thought to question it but if it’s that much extra I’ll definitely be opting to leave that day, We live around an hour away so it should be fine I hope! Thanks 🙂
All the best for your op! Xx

If I only had rhinoplasty, I wouldn’t have stayed overnight. You’ll need to take some dressings and change them every few hours as your nose will bleed. Other than that it’s ok to go home after the procedure. I stayed overnight but I had my boobs done as well xx
