Overnight Stay Changed To Day Case

Hi …
Ive already paid all my money and i am due to have an overnight stay on the 5th of June… But becasue of transport and the time that my dad works he is unable to pick me up the day after so does anybody know if i can change from an overnight stay to a day case and will they refund the money that it cost? please let me kno if anyones knos thanks x

I had my BA 4 weeks ago, it is my second one. Is there no way at all that you can stay over because trust me, you will NOT feel like moving. It’s not painful at all, you will just be very, very stiff. When you stay in overnight, it is not just to make more money from you, the nurse comes in every 2-3 hours to check your temperature and give you pain relief if needed. If, God forbid, you were at home and something happened, you may be in trouble.

Those first 24 hours after a general aneasthetic are quite serious, if you can, then stay the night.

Could you have a friend or other family member pick you up? If so, I would advise that you keep your overnight stay too. It’ll do you well to have nurses on hand to keep an eye on you and help you out with any discomfort or pain.

Hi. I am going for a tummy tuck and have been told I must stay overnight as its the biggest operation. I am going up with my husband, but he is not able to stay with me in the hospital (so unfair. lol). So, he is going to stay with his brother (I think!) But they should pay for someone to be put up over night, especially as its so expensive and we are travelling from Cornwall, so long jaunt! x

I am staying overnight too! I was gonna have a day case but hubby wanted me to stay in for piece of mind lol! Alana x

Awww. Thats very thoughtful of him! I got to stay overnight, and so I need too ask a relative to have my 3 children for 2 weeks there after! As ! have to refrain from too much movement and anything strenuous! Lol.
