I had my reduction/uplift on Tuesday with Dr traynor and my right breast is very painful today, painkillers aren’t touching the pain…. Anyone else experienced this? Xx

What are you taking? You can take paracetamol and ibruprofen together or take co-codamol.
The first week is tough, it’s uncomfortable but it does get better 🙂

Hi Zoe they gave me ibuprofen, paracetamol and codeine, as well as antibiotics. I rang nurse earlier as one of my incisions is slightly bleeding and oozing, she said to keep an eye on it & call Back if it gets any worse. Your definitely right it’s tough, can’t wait to start feeling okay again xx

Hope you’re feeling a little better now! the first week is the worst! However o was very lucky and experienced no pain. I have had a few complications myself and it is very worrying! Especially any oozing or bleeding but I’m feeling much more positive now it has started to heal again!
Good luck with the recovery xx

Hi Rebecca sorry only just seen this, I actually asked how you was doing on another post without seeing this haha.
I’m okay Hun, I’m 9days po today, my pain has improved loads just sore and achy now but nothing I can’t cope with, I went to see my nurse on Monday and she said they look good and the pain in my right boob was probably because I am right handed so naturally use that side more. Had my dressings changed then I’m back next week for 2 week po. She said breast reduction is one of the biggest operations that they do at mya so just be extra careful with recovery….. Have you had an infection Hun? That’s what I’m scared of. My experience was great and Mr traynor was amazing, can’t thank him enough. Xx

Awh that’s great that you’re recovering! It wasn’t an infection, my skin had just broken down ? but today I saw the nurse and I don’t have to go back for too weeks because of the improvements! I’ve been back every 3 to 4 days for the past month so I’m definitely ready to be fully healed now and get back to normality! Xx
