Post op compression socks?!

How long were you guys told to wear compression socks for? My surgeon saod around 2-3 weeks but nurses told me 6! 3 and a half weeks past now and I cant stand them any longer they wake me up every night cutting in to my knee!

I was told 3-5 days till I was up and about! 6 weeks seems ridiculous! Maybe double check that? X

I was told a few days until you’re fully mobile and moving around x

I was told I was allowed to take them off after 2 nights as long as I was up and moving

I’ve just had my op and was also told 2-3 days until you’re more mobile xx

I’m 2 days post op and I’ll prob take them off tomorrow. I was told 2-3 days too. I bizarrely quite like them! Ha ha! I find them comforting

I was told 2 – 3 days. X

Omg i cant believe I have been wearing them that long haha! Thanks everyone x
