Post op feels

Hey girls – I am 3 days post op now, still bed bound. I just really want to know how everyone else’s recovery went? I was given painkillers codeine & paracetamol and I just feel extremely drowsy & tired all the time. Is this normal? When I get up to go to something I feel like I need to lie back down again. How long did it take for everyone to start feeling normal to get back into their daily routine? Xxx

Hey Heather it’s totally normal. Did you have unders? Its a mixture of healing, anaesthetic coming out of ur system and the codiene I know when I took codiene I slept for 2-3 hours after I kept napping it was frustrating. I’d say u can slowly do more things by day 5-6 but then for me the backache happened but it did settle in like 3-4 days but had to take 2 weeks off work, as you said little things are exhausting. But everyone is different so hopefully urs will be a bit quicker but ur body will let you know when ur doing too much u don’t want to rush ur healing. Good luck and congrats on ur new boobs 🙂 xx

I kept them on for the 5 days just incase that’s what they advised at the clinic I found them cumfy tho. Have u found urself feeling bloated too? xx
