    Hi ladies

So, I had my pre-op today. I love my surgeon, he’s amazing and trust him implicitly. When I had my initial consultation he told me to go home and try some rice sizers on, which I did, admittedly only in 275/300, and come back with a number I wanted.

Anyway, today when I said 275/300 he looked a bit taken aback. He said my frame could suit any size and 300 would be modest to the point where you wouldn’t be able to tell in clothes and in a round about way suggested up to 400 – he believes these would suit my frame but it would be obvious in size that I had had them done.

Another issue I have is that the skin on my right breast is quite tight so he said that that breast would look rounder because of that.

So, I have 2 reasons I am hesitant to go a lot bigger than 300ish:

    1) I still want to be in proportion, I want to be able to tell I’ve had them done, I want to fill clothes out better but I worry that 400 would look so obvious and fake and people would be talking about me (silly I know!)

    2) as I mentioned before, the skin tightness on my right hand side. The bigger I go the more obvious that implant will be in that side. I guess this is my main worry really.

They would be over the muscle as I have enough tissue there it’s just the tightness.

Do any other ladies have experience of skin tightness?

And have any of you had the same kind of predicament in terms of thinking you’d be having a smaller size but the surgeon suggesting larger?

    I’d really appreciate your thoughts.

My 500’s could be hidden so If you want to look like you’ve had them done I would say 400 .. he was taken aback meaning he thinks it’s too small for your frame .. x

    Hi,
So I’m 10 days post op, I had 275 overs and started with a flat 34A.
I had the same concern, I wanted them done for me and wanted a difference but my biggest fear was going to big. My surgeon suggested 375, I freaked out thinking that would be way to big after doing my research.
I’m really glad I didn’t gon375, but already the swelling is going down a little and I think I could have gone 300/325. I think if I’m doubt go thatblittle bit bigger as they will be big, then go down and then u wish they were big again ?
However saying that, my skin felt and still does a bit sooooo stretched from my 275cc, I know the skin does stretch but how girls have big implants I don’t know, I thought mine were going to explode ?
All in all I’m so happy, I love my new boobs. My recovery with over the muscle has been a breeze!!

    Hi hun,

What are your stats? I’m 5’7 and had flat 34A. I was going to go with 300 on my first appointment with patient coordinator. She said I wouldn’t feel like there is enough difference and suggested 350. My surgeon said 350 is ok and will feel very natural C cup. On the day of the surgery I was worried I didn’t go big enough and went for 375. While I was terrified I made the wrong decision. 5.5weeks on – I’m so so happy I went for 375 🙂

But it is very personal, you gotta listen to yourself. However, 100 more CC just means it’s 100ml more – so eventually two double shots more liquid 🙂

Thank you all for your responses.

@J thanks so much for this, I’m 5’7 too and 12.5stone – although hoping to lose another 0.5 stone before the op so it’s really helpful to hear your story. I think you’ve given me a bit of confidence to go for the bigger – yours look amazing!!

I do still worry slightly about the skin tightness but I trust that my surgeon wouldn’t be something in that would look horrendous.

Honestly @J thanks so much for sharing your experience, especially as we have similar stats height wise, it’s given me some tangible advice ☺️

I’m 5’9” and was 9 stone 7 at the time of my operation, 9 stone 3 now, and I have quite a broad frame. For such a tall and wide person I honestly think my 430cc is lost on me at my size, it doesn’t look obvious or fake at all (which is actually the look I was really after) and I wish I could have gone bigger but this is the largest my surgeon said he could go for me. I would say that our stats aren’t too dissimilar so I think your surgeon is right. I think even 450cc plus is a realistic consideration for you. Try a bigger sizer and see how you feel? I was concerned that 430cc would be too big for me because it sounds so big when you say it, but in reality I honestly think I would need 600cc plus to get the result I eventually want.

Thanks Becca, it’s interesting you say 450cc plus as he was really stressing that I’d have to go WAY BEYOND 400 to be anything other than in proportion. He said with my frame I could realistically go as big as I wanted!

You’ve definitely given me food for thought.

    Are you considering a revision?

I have had my boobs done twice first ones I got were 365cc then I needed revision so opted for bigger I got 450cc , my first implants didn’t look right at all for my body they were far too small and looked so odd naked , I’m 5’1 and 7stone7 honestly if they say you can go bigger go bigger you won’t regret it , when trying the implants in your bra they feel so much bigger than they are and I wish I did my reasearch before hand , when they are first done they feel so big Cos your used to nothing but after a few month the swelling goes down and they shrink soooo much if you want me to show you some pics I will xxx

I am 5 “7 12 stone and I had 500cc HP overs and I’ve gone from a 34b to a DD. If you are offered bigger I would DEFINITELY go bigger. I really panicked about mine being too big but I think they’re just right for my height and weight.

I’ve read so many ‘wish I’d gone bigger’ posts, but I’m yet to read one ‘my implants are too big’.
As long as you’re sensible and don’t go bigger than the max your surgeon thinks will suit your body, then I’m sure you’ll have no regrets x

There wouldn’t be any point in me having a revision as 430cc is definitely the most that I can fit for now. My surgeon said on the day that it was quite a tight squeeze fitting that in and that there’s no way he could have gone for anything near 500cc at this stage and certainly not above which is a what I would need really. So I will have to wait a good few years I think for my skin to stretch a bit and relax more before I can go much bigger. So I’m happy for now, knowing that I’ve gone as big as I possibly can for the moment. But certainly in the future, somewhere down the line when I am looking to replace my current implants, I will look for a bigger size, somewhere around 600cc if possible by that point!

I understand what your surgeon is saying in that 400cc would probably just work to balance out your figure whereas if you wanted to significantly alter your look and have a more obvious shape, you would need bigger. I think it all comes down to personal preference and what your end goal is. If you just want to balance out your figure, then go for 450cc. But if you do want to significantly alter your look and have a more obvious shape, I truly would go for no smaller than 550cc, probably 600cc if I’m honest. For reference I am currently measuring an E / F cup from a B with 430cc, but it just looks and feels so small to me! I would say it looks more of a C / D in truth.

Iv been informed that Implants always measure bigger to normal boobies anyway. Xxx
