Pre op tomorrow? What does it involve?

Just wonder what they do at your pre op assessment

They took my height, weight, blood pressure & heart rate and just ran through basic medical questions (allergies, medication etc) & they asked for my NHS number so they could contact my GP.

I’m not a mya patient but mine checked for mrsa, took blood pressure, checked height and weight and asked about any allergies, previous medical history and told me what to do before and after surgery and what would happen on the day. Only takes about half an hour x
