My surgery isn’t until late January, if I was to get pregnant will I lose out on the money I have paid? I’ve heard so so many stories? would they post-pone the surgery date or?

If you were pregnant you wouldn’t be allowed to have the surgery so I imagine it would be postponed until at least 6 months post baby, longer if breastfeeding.
I’m not sure if you would lose any money by doing it, maybe just drop an email to your PC to check terms…

Hey, I found out I was pregnant on my surgery day jan 19th 2017, I lost my £1000 deposit and had to pay extra £500 as price had changed! I had 2years from that date to get them done or I would loose all my money so haveing my op 09/01/2019. I hope this helps

Oh gosh glad it’s sorted now though! What happens if you inform them before the surgery date ?

I’m not 100% sure but on the terms and conditions it should tell you how many days beforehand before you can cancel you appointment. There is a little section about pregnancy as I rember reading it 2 years ago ?

Pretty sure as soon as you’ve got a surgery date you’ll lose out on at least some money, either your deposit or a fee to change the date. They’re quite strict with pregnancy and my PC kept mentioning it in my consultations..

If you’re planning/trying, why don’t you call your PC and see if you can cancel your surgery date and wait to have them done? I’ve been warned my boobs will change when I have kids but that’s a few years off for me so I didn’t want to wait until after I’ve had my family.

Good luck whatever you decide x
