Hi, I’ve gotten measured this week and I’m 32E (6 weeks post op). I’m fine wearing most tops projection wise because I had moderate plus, but I’m just wondering if I can start wearing push up bras again for those tops I still can’t get cleavage in. Keep looking online and everyone has a different opinion about it, so I thought I’d post here. Some people say that wearing a push up will move the implant. Is this true? Xx

I was told by my nurse I can wear whatever bra I feel comfortable in it’s just down to personal preference. I think if there was risks of changing the results they would have said. I’ve been wearing some push up for weeks and noticed no difference in the shape or anything x

That’s weird, because my surgeon said no push ups for 12 months! I’m now 18mths post op and it’s so hard to find a push up bra that isnt already padded ? like, hello bra manufacturers, if it’s a DD… does it need more padding? I did occasionally wear some that i managed to find before the year was up, and I found that it did make the boobs feel a bit uncomfortable by the end of the night. Whereas now, i can wear my trusty few good ones all the time and it always feels fine.

Hi Hun, basically both my surgeon and nurse said at my 6w appointment is that I can start wearing push ups because they have healed within that 6 weeks healing time. They also told me to not wear bras without underwire in them as it’s a must apparently. I had overs and he’s told me to avoid being braless also so I’m still wearing my macom bra to bed and I’m about 8 weeks post op now. It’s mental how every surgeon suggests different things isn’t it! Like I’ve read so many people going braless after their operation so i don’t think it will be the end of the world if I go braless for a few days. Holding off on that though as long as I can
