    Hey!

I’m having my econsult on Sunday, as i live in south wales I’d more than likely have an overnight stay post op. My questions are:

    – what type of bag did you take? cabin size case or weekend bag?

    – what did you take with you? ive started to make a list but id like to start buying bits so when i book my surgery i dont have an added expence to buying post op bras etc.

    – does anyone know if theres any changes due to covid?

    – which hospital did you stay in and were you happy?

thanks everyone – this forum has helped me so much xxx

    Hi Sophie!

I had an uplift in November and was advised not to pack a weekend bag/case and to limit the things I took with me due to COVID. I was asked to have everything in a clear bag as well but don’t know if that depends on the hospital itself. All I took with me was pjs/slippers, change of clothes for going home, post op bra, basic toiletries and a tablet/mags to keep me entertained.

The only other changes I was aware of was that no one could come in with me, I just had to be dropped off/picked up at the door and obviously to wear a mask when anyone was in my room but thats it.

I had my surgery at First Trust in Preston and im so happy. Best thing ive ever done!

I’m from South Wales too but had my op in Preston. I took a weekend bag with pjs and slippers, iPad and charger, surgery bras, spare top just in case I wanted to change the next morning, some snacks and a bottle of pop but they fed me there too. I got there in my joggers and a zip through hoody so I had that too if I got chilly. Don’t forget a mask too 😊 x

Forgot to say I took some toiletries as well. Roll on deodorant not spray, face and body wipes to freshen up, toothbrush and toothpaste x
