Hi I am now 3 days post Op and I’ve been in that much pain and discomfort I can’t stop crying when trying to move. I am fully regretting getting this done and if I knew how much pain I would be in now I wouldn’t have bothered.
Please tell me people go through this, I feel like it’s not going to go away the days are long and painful and I’m not sure how much more I can cope. This is 100 times worse than labour for me

Hey! I am sorry to hear your in so much pain.
People have used ice packs/ frozen veg laid it on their chests(in a towel or on top of their clothing obviously lol) I know some people are worse than others yiuve just got to try and stay on top of your meds did they give you cocodamol? If the pain gets worse/ stays contact your surgeon/ nurse and let them know. It will all be worth it believe me x

Hi. Sorry to hear you’re in so much pain! I felt like that at day 3, I really regretted it. I am now at 1 week PO and while I still feel sore each day gets that bit easier. You have been through major surgery and everybody recovers differently so take it easy and try not to do too much, and don’t be disheartened. I keep telling myself it will all be worth it x

Thanks, I have also been speaking to other people who I know that have had the same done and they also said it’s totally normal and that it will get better and easier day by day, it’s just hard when your in so much pain.
Can’t wait to be able to enjoy the end result rather than feel so down

Hi hun, day 3-5 we’re my worst days then day 6 I was kids better. Have you got plenty of ice packs? I had 6 and had 3 on my chest and 3 in the freezer and swapped out. If your really struggling speak to your nurse or call your docs and see if you can get some cocodamols. Otherwise keep on top of your pain killers and make sure your in an upright position to help stop too much upper body movement. It will feel better soon hun. I ended up in a real slump when I had mine done because of pain but then it just eased off. X
