I am 28 and 5yrs ago began a weight loss mission and shed 5 stone. I’m still working towards goal weight but am within a stone of it now. I do not have any children but have suffered sagging due to the weight loss – went from a 38E-F and now about a 34D (dependant on the bra). It may not look like a huge change but they have shrunk quite substantially.

I have been researching an uplift (mastopexy) with implants, but also wonder whether I could get away with just implants? The Anchor scarring that comes with an uplift puts me off! Do you think I would suffer sagging again if/when I have children?
Im based in London so any surgeons you’d recommend so that I could begin researching that would be appreciated too!

Also, does anyone have any other general advice/pre and post-op photos etc. they’d be happy to share?

    Thank you 🙂

    Hi Amy,
I’m a 34E but the are very flat at the top and sag due to weight loss.
I went for a consultation last week and have now booked another consultation to see the surgeon.
I’ve been reasearching quite a few years now but always been put off by the surgery and cost ect.
I had in my head that I wanted implants and uplift for a fuller look but was told that because I do have a lot of breast tissue an uplift alone will be fine and will get me what I want. An implant could cause the sagging again if it’s too heavy. So if you could get away without having implants then it would be better.
I too am so worried about the scarring but I would rather that than the boobs I have now! Also the scarring does fade and some surgeons are very neat!
I’ve recommended to see Dr Andrea Giannitrapani. Apparently he’s very good at uplifts.
I’ve found it hard to find before & after pictures of just uplifts without implants on here so would also love if anyone could share any photos ????????
