Hi, I’m currently 50 weeks post op and I had 350CC overs. I think I might have slight rippling on both my breasts, near the armpit. It isn’t visible, so I’m not to worried at the moment but I’m concerned it might get worse ? Does anyone have any advice on this ??
    Thanks. Becca 🙂 xx

Rippling is more common if you have overs and not a lot of tissue, have thin skin, or if you’re just very lean! I wouldn’t be too concerned if they’re not visible. I’m pretty lean and petite and was told that could get some rippling as I’m going over the muscle, but there’s not a whole lot they can do to prevent it unfortunately except use a firmer silicone, a smooth implant, or go under the muscle.

My surgeon won’t give me unders because I have restricted breast tissue which means there’s literally no breast tissue at the top and it’s all the bottom, so he says going for overs will help correct the shape and make them look more balanced. So my options are to use a firmer silicone or go for a smooth implant. If I could have done both I would but I’m having Mentor memory gel implants and the firmer silicone only comes in textured unfortunately!

Which implant brand/ type etc did you have? x

I have this in both outer sides my surgeons said most people with little breast tissue will have this, it’s not visible but I can feel it so I’m not too worried x
