Second time lucky ? :/ :(

Hi ladies I went in for surgery at Preston first trust on the 19th July, found out 3 weeks later I had MRSA from the surgery in my right breast and had a lot of leakage, they removed both implants in an emergency surgery. Now I’m returning 15th November for them to be put back in, nervous isn’t even the word I am so scared. I’ve reacted bad to both surgerys and been so ill I am praying that this time will be different, has anyone experienced the same thing? And how was the second time you had them put back in? X

I understand fully but i am sure they will be very carefull making sure nothing goes wrong this time good luck for November 15th but you will be fine look forward to hearing good replies once operation is carried out

Hi Rachel, well they only found out because I had leaking from my right wound and it was really bad when they swabbed the liquids they found it was an infection and when they took the implants out they swabbed inside my pocket and it was positive for mrsa, I had no temperature problems or any infection signs before the leaking but I had unbelievable amounts of pain on the right hand side where it was infected :(xxx

Scarey stuff Molly, but I’m sure you will be fine. U will be an expert by the end of it. Im sure they had a job advertisement in Newcastle you could apply for haha. Good luck for 2nd op! Xo

Post op day 2, finally home and the operation was fine nothing to worry about in a tiny bit of pain but not half as much as the other 2 surgerys let’s just hope nothing goes wrong and I recover well ! Xx

Everything’s great fern no complications wearing normal bras and I love them!! Xx
