Sensitive skin

hi ladies I’ll be 3 weeks post op on Tuesday. My recovery has been amazing! I got signed off at 2 weeks post op by my surgeon to go back to normal, I can back to the gym sleep bra less wear normal bras etc I’m so happy with the results. But my only problem is that my skin around my boobs is ridiculously sensitive I can’t not wear a bra because if my top or duvet rubs on my boobs it’s really sore. Has anyone else had this? If so how long does it last for? Tia x

Hey I’m 2 weeks post of n my skin is also super sensitive but I’m coping, I have to wear sports bra 24/7 for at least another 4 weeks so I’ve just got to grin n bear it lol xx

Hey hun, I had Mr Marcellino as well and I was advised as majority of us on here to wait till 6wk check for all the above you mentioned… just never heard of anyone being able to do all that at 2 wks PO.. Maybe double check Hun, would hate for you to do anything and risk your new boobies.. don’t wanna tell you what to do Hun, just concerned for you. Good luck, happy healing..xxx

@nikki just to warn you it might get slightly worse mines the worst it’s been. But I have since googled it and it seems it’s a very normal thing to happen.

Hey Jo it was Mr. Marcellino that signed me off he said he doesn’t need to see me for another 3-5 years. He was literally amazed at my recovery he took photos and asked if he could use them to show future patients. He was so happy with me. My scars are pretty much invisible. But I’ve been very mobile since day one I was back to work 2 days later and teaching my spinning classes 1 week post op. I feel normal (apart from the sensitive skin). I’ve been back to the gym weight lifting and I’m back to boot camp on this Tuesday. Don’t worry thank you so much for your concern your very sweet considering your going through such a hard time.
