Hi Kay, I never had any bruising I think because my surgeon recommended me start taking Vita-Medica surgical vitamins 2 weeks prior to surgery, and continuing to take them 2 weeks after along with Bromalin (for tissue recovery) and Arnica (for swelling). I would recommend for you to help with the bruising and swelling. His office sold them, but they have them as a bundle on Amazon for a little over $100 (USD). It’s like a salad of vitamins, I take them 3x a day but its REALLY HELPED. I still keep up with my stronger pain meds throughout the day and get times of intense aches, especially in my side boob area and cleavage, I think because my skin is stretching and trying to accommodate my new additions. I do also get muscle spasms every once in a while, so I’ve been taking Valium for that but try to use it less because it makes me sleep the day away. I went much bigger tho, started very small 32A, 5’0, 108lbs… and went up to 445cc UHP unders. My results are looking great imo, and I’m able to do more and more on my own each day that passes. Still cant buckle my seat belt, open heavy drawers, or put on a t shirt without help, but I’m getting there…. As for sleep, I purchased a 4 piece wedge pillow set on Amazon and use a neck pillow with it, I’ve had 0 issues sleeping, which shocked me bc I was a stomach sleeper pre-op…. Idk. Hope you start feeling better. If I can help any way or if u have questions, I’m here for ya.

I’ve read that arnica tablets really helps with recovery, you can buy them in most places now fairly cheaply or at a chemist for less than £5 xx

It’s took me 3 weeks to feel good Kay. I think the smaller you are to start the tougher the recovery. My surgeon told me that pain meds will control pain but not the tightness. I had a horrible tightness in the middle of my chest It even hurt to breath but that stopped around week 2 it’s difficult but trying to do nice slow deap breaths to help soften your chest muscles and loosen it helped me.. it will get easier
