    Hi Girls,
I had my operation in August. I’ve posted about this issue before but as time goes on I am starting to get more and more concerned. I am completely numb in my right breast and have very little sensation in my left.
How long did this last for other girls? Will I get it back at all?
    Thanks in advance 🙂

I know for some girls it’s taken up to a year, me personally I’m 6 months post op and have no feeling in either of my boobs or nipples they are completely numb and if I’m honest I don’t think I will ever regain any sensation, but I was told this can happen. Your still early days though give it time it may come back xx

Hi Ashleigh, I’m still only 9 days post op but I’ve been researching this for years speaking to countless ladies so I knew exactly what to expect. The numbness is a side affect which is mentioned by your surgeon. It can take up to a year for the feeling to come back but it might never come back. I’ve spoken to girls at 5, 10 and even as long as 18 years who still have numbness. It’s one of the risks you take a long with many others. Sorry this may not be the answer you were hoping for but I hope it helps! Massaging oil in the breast can help as the heat and the movement aids with healing xxx
