Stitches 6 weeks post op!

Hi I am 6 weeks post op and still have a stitch half in one of my nostrils. The nurse said they’re desolvable but would have thought they’d be gone by now. Has anyone else had this problem? x

Yep. At my 6 week check the nurse said they can take up to 3 months to dissolve. I tried to snip it once and accidentally pulled it. Was horrid as it went all the way through the middle of my nose ? x

Oooh that sounds painful! ? I’m glad I’m not the only one. I’ve got the nurse to snip it down so isn’t bothering me too much now! Can’t wait until it’s fully healed x

Me too.. The one that was right near my nostril was gone after my shower yesterday!! Still feels very tender to touch though and I still have a bit of a bump ? hopefully it’s swelling… Hope you happy with yours still x

Yea mine is still tender too. Can tell swelling is still there, think it takes months before the final result though doesn’t it. I’m really happy with it and it looks natural so no one could tell I’d had anything done x
