Strapping?

Hey! So I had my op last night at 6pm with mr Singh and he has completely strapped my boobs up and I was just wondering what the reason for this is? Is it supposed to help? Really don’t want it on, think I have small stretch mark but can’t see properly an can’t apply bio oil to it either cuz of how tight the strapping is. Also I have a pretty tight sports bra on, would it be better to swap to my macom? Thanks Rach xx

Hey huni I never got all the strapping as the company I went with don’t use as they use chest bands it’s used to keep them place and take some weight off your scaring x

I have a Macom compression band on which mr Fallahdar had put on me after the surgery. It’s a tight Velcro strap across the top of my boobs, is that what you have? It’s so uncomfortable but apparently you only wear it for a week before seeing your nurse! I’m seeing mine today and so hoping she says I can stop wearing it!! I’ve been taking mine off every now and then for 10 mins to let the skin breath and put bio oil on it! Also I’d put your macom bra on if you have it as they’re so comfy x

Hey, no Hun I just have duck tape (well that’s what it looks/feels like lol) all over my boobs with only my nipples uncovered. So there is no way of nipping it off or getting to my boobs to apply the bio oil 🙁 , apparently I have to have the strapping on for a week too until I see the nurse, it’s just a bit of a pain in the bum (well..boob lol) xxx

Oh ok, oh that’s annoying! I wonder why!! I think every surgeon has their own idea of what works best after surgery tbh x

Yeah that’s the chest band ok I had to wear mine for 6 weeks xx

hey love im having mr singh and i called up and asked if i couldnt have the strapping because ive heard horror stories about it and my PC said he uses it to keep the implant in place so it settles properly, she also said that you can cut into it to make it more comfy. Im dreading the strapping xx

Hi rach, me again! I had mr Singh yesterday as well I bet we were in rooms next to each other & didn’t know. Had mine done at 3pm & also lots of strapping. I’ve seen pics of other girls on here some also have it so I expected it. As itchy & tight and annoying as it is, it will help support them for the first part of the recovery. I’m going to trim the top of strapping & under arms in a day or 2 to make it a bit more comfortable. You can’t even hide it with clothes as its so high on your chest ha. Oh well. Happy boob birthday anyway hope you love them. What size did you have? Xx

Hey thanks for te replies girls! It’s nice to know this vile strapping is atleast worth it then lol! Just feels so tight! May cut a small bit from off the top then in next couple of days too just so I have some breathing space an can apply some oil! Roll on day 7!!

Ameliajj I had 340cc unders! I bet we were haha I had my surgery at about 5 I think xxx

I cut a bit off the top last night as it was suffocating me & it helped relieve it a bit. x

I had strapping; they said it depends on the surgeon and on the patient. I had drains and strapping, my friend just had small bandages on her scars. I had strapping as I had some bleeding (nothing unusual, they said everyone varies) 🙂
