    Hi ladies,

Had my strapping off today and I was mortified !! My boobs are all lob sided and I was not prepared ! Lol.
I know they will “drop and fluff” but they don’t look good at the moment !
Good to have the strapping off but still no shower for 4 weeks.
It feels good to just have my bra on now, the nurse said they will change weekly which is good.

Another thing… I filled out a survey once I’d had my surgery, and left my pre op/post op nurse some neutral feedback stating she seemed uninterested….. she only went and read it and questioned me today!! How awkward.
Not enjoying my post op experience so far. She shouldn’t of read it or had access to it until 6 weeks post op.

So now I have some very awkward appointments for the next few weeks lol.

Posted pics anyway – please don’t laugh … I am mortified and the floppy lob sided nipple 🙁

I’m soo scared to have my strapping off, how mad is it to think you wait a week to even know what’s gone on under there!
I’m 3 days po, still in pain, uncomfortable and jus worried and anxious was is below this strapping!
Your look fine, they will balance out in time it’s only been a week!
What cc did you have etc?

They look fine to me .. don’t worry by the time the scars are healing they will change shape and form every week so don’t worry much x about the nurse that’s very awkward so far everything has been so great. Maybe mention to your patient co ordinator about it if your not sure x

thats terrible that she read it, i bet you felt crap! Your boobs are fine Steph, its really early stages especially as you had unders. I know youve probs heard this loads before but be patient and give them time, honestly they change so so much as the weeks go by. I had overs and even they changed as the swelling subsided etc. xxxx

    Hey Louise.
Yeah really disheartened but it’s still early days yet so hopefully they even out. I just wonder why there like that when everyone else’s look really good…. typical for it to happen to me lol.
I might see about swapping tbh but I think she’s the only one there! Who knows. roll on next few weeks when hopefully they drop and even out ! Xx

Steph I promise they will change for the better. I’m almost 6 weeks PO and my first nurses appointment by boobs looked so strange. One looked bigger, one had a tucked inscar but they are getting there now. Pics here are 1WPO and bottom pic is just now. Xxx

    How you doing Steph ?
Honestly I wouldn’t worry at all. It’s obvious that your left breast is more swollen than the right and that is going to pull the nipple out of position. Heard loads of people say about them healing at different rates! A few more
Weeks and I bet you will be chuffed with overall results, they look really perky and full
    And neat incisions!

    Hey louise,
I’m doing ok, loving not having the strapping on, I feel free.
Still very sore around incision sites but that’s to be expected I guess.
Wishing I’d gone bigger though! Lmao. How are you getting on Hun? Xx

    Glad you’re doing okay Steph!!
I have moments where I’m really happy with the size and others where I panic and think well they’ve still got to loose swelling and how small are they going to get panic! Haha

    I’m doing okay now
Just got to be careful not to over do it as feel
Pretty much back to normal. Haven’t taken any paracetamol for past 2 days and out and about. Though drove my car yesterday and carried some shopping bags and really don’t think I should have!!!!

Got my 2 week check on Wednesday and looking forward to seeing how well the incisions are healing now

We must keep missing each other at the Fitzroy by a day? X

Haha, I’m at the Birmingham clinic 🙂
Although I would much prefer the Fitzroy as it was fab there.
I tried to drive the other day and had to push pull cuz I couldn’t turn the wheel properly lmao.
I feel ok too… the dressings are itchy, but my boobs seem to be growing so happy days.
Not happy with the 5lb weight gain and tight jeans tho… I’m wondering why I can start exercising again, when do you reckon? There saying 6 weeks but I don’t do weights only cardio lol.
I have my 2 week on Thursday with the awkward nurse…. yaaaaaay! Hahaha xx
