Surgery all done! :D

Hey girls!

I had my surgery done yesterday! Everyone at the Fitzroy in London have been incredible! Checking up on me every couple of hours and making sure I’m comfortable.

I didn’t even feel it when they put me to sleep, was a quick process and I woke up in the recovery room and just felt exhausted! I was on and off sleeping all night, nurses came to check my blood pressure throughout the whole of the night which woke me up but then fell back asleep 5 minutes after they left.
Woke up this morning and everything feels so tight, I had a little bit of pain so they gave me some co-codamol this morning. Surgeon came to see this morning and said I shouldn’t have much pain but they’ve given me some co-codamol to take home just incase 🙂 they’ve also given me some antibiotics to take for 7 days!

Hi Ffion I’m really happy your surgery went well! I’m booked in on the 12th April. Are you sharing any of your journey on Instagram? There’s loads of implant accounts but I haven’t found any reductions and it would be great to connect with others who are also having the procedure!

I won’t be sharing it on Instagram, I will be sharing it on here! Shame it won’t let me upload photos though ?
There isn’t much on breast reductions so it’s always nice to put up everything I can!

Ah they look amazing! How have you been feeling? I’ve only been able to book 12 days of holiday off work and I’m hoping it will be enough!

I feel absolutely fine! The pain hasn’t been too bad, I’ve taken some painkillers but it’s mainly just uncomfortableness at the moment cause my bra is tight cause of the swelling! 🙂
I’ve booked two weeks off work 🙂 hoping once the swelling goes down, I’ll feel fine!

This was this morning, 3 days post op! 🙂
I am beyond happy with the results. Just can’t wait until the swelling goes down. Not currently taking any pain killers, barely had any pain, which is quite good! I’m just resting and also doing normal day to day things so my body is getting used to it but not over doing it 🙂

Hi Kirsty! Thanks, I feel so so happy about them ? I feel absolutely fine! I haven’t taken any painkillers since Sunday which is fab. I’m resting but also just carrying on doing normal housework and I’ve had no trouble whatsoever! Yeah had a slight reduction but mainly an uplift! Best decision I’ve ever made honestly! I love them so much already and I just can’t wait until they’re all healed and I can start buying bras and clothes that will actually fit me nicely ?xx

They look great! I’m a 32G and hoping to have a reduction to around a D/DD. Got my consultation next week

Hi everyone,

So currently at 16 days post op. I’ve had two check ups with the nurse so far, still got my dressings on, got another check up Thursday to see how everything is 🙂

I finally went back to work yesterday after a verrrry long two weeks off, I’m a receptionist so I thought I would be okay but I am extremely sore after the end of my shift today, so I am back on the painkillers now 🙁
I’ve still got some swelling and I am healing as I should be 🙂 just hoping I have my dressings off soon as the itchiness is driving me crazy!
Once I have had my dressings off, I will post some more pictures 🙂

I am nearlyyyy 3 weeks post op! When I went for a check up last week, the nurse gave me some dressings as mine were near enough coming off every week, so this morning I changed my dressings and had a quick peek and took some pictures!

Still quite a lot of healing to go but I am BEYOND happy!! 🙂

They’re looking amazing Ffion! So glad you’re feeling well and back at work too. Only a couple of weeks until I go in now!

I’ll do another update picture in a week or so! The scabs have pretty much all come off, just waiting for the last little bits ?

Hi, your results are amazing!! Can I ask what size you are now please? I am seeing Mr Mashhadi next week and going for reduction and uplift. I am currently a 34G but don’t want to be going much smaller if I’m honest – it was mainly the uplift I was going for but they recommended a slight reduction too.

This is so relatable – this has given me a bit more confidence in possibly getting something like this done! I am a 32H and want to be more of a normal size/ have an uplift as you did.

Did you have an implant too? They look amazing. Can I ask what surgeon did these.
I’m due to have Dr teskouras who recommended a slight reduction and uplift. But wouldn’t put a implant in for me.

I had an uplift with a slight reduction, no implants whatsoever 🙂 my surgeon was Dr Sleiter.

I’m currently now 11 months post op and honestly can say it’s the bestest decision I’ve ever made!!

Thank you so much for sharing all these pictures and info. I have my consultation in a couple of hours and I’ve struggled to find pictures of people who have had reduction and uplift but yours looks amazing. I’m roughly your pre-op size so can relate to you! X

Hi Abi, I hope your consultation went well! MYA are absolutely incredible and I’m so happy I went with them! I had mainly an uplift rather than a reduction, I only dropped about a cup size but they look soooo much smaller because they’re not hanging low anymore! I’m beyond happy with them 😊xx
