Surgery done but wow pain

I am in so much pain i just wasn’t prepared for it ?. Feel like my arms are just aching so much and my back it’s such a weird experience, very happy but wow feel awful. Good luck girls for your op, it’s worth the pain xx

The pain was a shock for me too, however it has got a little better each day. I’m now four days after surgery and can move a bit easier. I agree it is worth the pain! Hope you feel better soon x

Was your surgery today Chantel? I had mine just after 7 this morning! Hope you start feeling better soon, I wasn’t in pain immediately after surgery but my muscles and everything around my chest and sides are beginning to feel sore and achey x

Honestly I just didn’t expect it, as soon as I came round I was in pain and was moaning about it. Yes I had my surgery at 1 and was in my room by 3, I can’t remember anything so probably was in my room before. It’s my arms that hurts it’s weird like my boobs are fine but this feeling in my arms is awful. I wouldn’t say it’s a pain either I can’t describe it, it’s like I’ve got a slender tone on my arms at full blast it that’s I’ve done a really intense arm workout but it’s horrible. I can’t see how paracetamol and ibroprophan (can’t spell it) is going to be Enough xx

Are they giving you painkillers? I have an IV drip feeding painkiller into my veins and I can feel how cold it is, I’m a little bit grossed out ?

I’m at home now but wish I stayed In and had stronger painkillers. I will never have another cosmetic procedure lol I am clearly a wimp ? I was so much better after childbirth then this. Wish I had overs ?? xx

Can anyone run out and get you some co-codacamol? It’s stronger than ibuprofen ? You’re not a wimp lol! Childbirth is totally natural, this is not so natural ?

That’s good to hear 🙂 I’m feeling better in general (besides the obvious parts aching) but I’m so bloody tired. They want to administer more painkillers before bed so I’m here fighting the tiredness til then.

How are you finding the recovery at home? I don’t know how you managed the journey home, when I think about my car journey home tomorrow I just wanna bury myself in this bed and disappear

The car journey home was horrendous, shocked they let me go so soon but I did have the sedation and local so didn’t have the risks from a general. I wish I stayed doe as I do feel weak but I’m going to go sleep ow as I’m soooo tired xx

@lucy1987 hiya, I had 350cc, they feel massive at the minute. I’ve just tried a sports bra on out of couriosity and 32d I couldn’t even zip up and now my boobs are killing me ?. I reckon I will end up a DD, will put some pics up tomoz xx

Hi Chantelle glad ur op went ok, how was the whole experience with Dr Kazzazi, how far did you have to travel home I will have a 2 hour journey from Doncaster. Have a good sleep, please can I add you as looking forward to seeing his handiwork lol have a good sleep (hopefully) Angie x

@kirtsy88 hiya, I’m feeling loads better now, when I’m still it actually doesn’t hurt, it was my arms and back but my mum said I was in surgery a long time so maybe there was something wrong with my pocket or he might have retouched something, but when I came round I was in pain as soon as I opened my eyes was awful. My implants are so high so that’s probably why my muscle hurts like my incisions I can’t feel a thing but it’s flat there as the implant isn’t even near. Sorry if this doesn’t make sense as I’ve took so many painkillers lol I’m almost slurring. No long to you now, I hope I haven’t scared you, everyone’s experience is different, tbh I would have hated beng sick but I’ve not felt queasy once xx

@angieca, off course u can add me Hun. When I wake up tomorrow I will go through the whole experience and write a story kind of thing. Tbh angie, that sedation really really knocked me out, I was so scared I was in tears thibk

Thinking I wouldn’t drift off but I was gone before mr kazzazi was in the room. I can’t remember coming out and vaguely remember getting in the car lol. Feel free to ask me anything xxx

Right @angieac, so my admission time was 11, I got there on time and was soooo nervous. The lady On reception was lovely and showed me to my room which was nice, had a tv etc. She asked for a wee sample so gave her one and then I just relaxed as a girl was waiting to go in for surgery so knew it would be at least an hours wait. A lovey nurse popped in and hour later and took my bp and heart rate and then told me to put on my gown. She said I would be going down in around 45 mins. The anesthetist then came in and explained what would happen regarding the sedation, I was so scared I would be awake but she reassured me that wouldn’t be the case and that dr kazzazi wouldn’t start till I was out. At 1 kazzazi and a nice nurse came in and I signed paper work and he drew on me. Think because I was nervous and hate when people get close to me I was not standing straight that the drawings he was makin weren’t right. I thr got led to the theatre and the room was like a proper hospital theatre so scary but I got on the bed and the anethetist then put the cannula in my hand which was horrible and the she put something in it which I didn’t feel and I started to get abit dizzy and that was that lol I woke up and was in pain and crying not making any sense lol actually few embarrassed. Then my mum said I was laughin and joking and flopping my secrets ????? woops. Tbh I was in so much pain in my arms at this point and was regret it having it done. I don’t get how people don’t think it hurts because it bloody did. I then had a drink and some toast and I went home probably not even an hour later but the journey back was awful because I live in Nottingham so around an hour away. I was still in and out of sleep in the car was weird. On min I was drifting the next I was wide awake. I felt better after more meds at around 10pm and actually had a good nights sleep but I have got a proper hospital prop up thing for the bed so I think that helped. Today my arms feel fine, no dicomfort but I can’t move and need help with everything even pulling up my trousers after going toilet. I won’t upload a pic with this strapping on as you can’t really see anything but they are so swollen today. I get my strapping off Friday so will defo upload when I get back. Good luck girls xx

Hi Chantel refreshing to see a frank review at least you are going in with you eyes open ? I have had sedation before so yes I know you have no secrets while under the influence lol. I live near Birmingham but we are going to stop for a cuppa part way, as for drifting in and out of sleep in the car I do that anyway so my hubby would say no change there lol!!! I was thinking of getting one of those props for the bed sounds like a good idea. Glad you had a good nights sleep things always feel better afterwards. Did you have unders? I am and it is supposed to be more painful xxx

I’m home today, my chest feels like I’ve lifted a billion weights. All I can think about is whether my work uniform will fit me anymore when I go back in two weeks time ?

Angie you will be fine and yes I had unders, I think having overs would be a breeze. I also think I had a good nights sleep because of the sedation so tonight will probably be annoying. Awww Caitlin none of my clothes hide the strapping and I’m now wearing a shirt but my boobs look like cones so I felt really paranoid going shopping today lol can’t wait to see what they will look like, feeing really positive now and excited xx

Chantel can’t believe you went shopping today! You must be feeling better. Did you go up a back size? Where did you get your bras from? I bought one off the internet that was supposed to be one back size bigger and I can barely do it up now!! Xx

Angie I’m having the same issue! Popped my sports bra off to put a fresh one on and I really had to pull it together to do the zip up (ow my muscles!!) I’m also glad I got a couple of different cup sizes because the one that was put on me flattened my nipple down so much it left an imprint in my boob ?

I only went to next literally in the car parked outside and went in but I think I’ve over did it as my boobs are tender again now. My toddler keeps attacking me and hitting me boobs which is awful lol I can’t pick her up and it’s breaking my heart. Angie I can’t wear a bra till I have my strapping off on Friday but I have one sports bra from asda and I can’t zip it up as it pushes my boobs together and really hurts. Mine are so high up at the minute, they feel like hard rocks it’s so strange xx

Oh I can imagine how hard it is not to pick your little girl up – I have two Labradors who jump all over me so trying to teach them not to do it but they give their sad eyes and I give in lol. Did they tell you not to wear a bra till strapping is off then? Bet you’ll be using plenty of ice how hot it’s going to be midweek ? xx
