Strange I know, but my skin has been awful since the surgery. So spotty! Don’t really see how it can be related though? Has anyone else had this problem?

    Hi Hun!

I had surgery on Friday just gone and my skin is sooooo oily! I’ve never had oily skin! My mum thinks it’s my body over compensating as it maybe in shock or over dry so it’s oiling itself? So annoying! Xx

Yes mine is too!! Especially in the morning! I’ve had spots too which I never normally get. I’ve felt really self conscious about it. I started taking evening primrose oil a few days ago and it seems to have helped. Don’t know if it’s just coincidence. I’m 6wks po!

I hope I don’t get spotty but this oily business is so annoying. I’m shining! But not in a good way haha! I hope it stops for us both. I really want to clean my face like I normally do but can’t with my splint on ! Xx

Hi girls. I think it’s where the cast is on and no air getting to the skin. I’m about 8 months PO now and I remember my skin being so spotty and oily. I still moisturise is every night as it got so flakey x
