The most sensitive nipples 3 weeks Post op

3 weeks post op and litterally the air hurts my nipples! ? was anyone else like this? Starting to feel better now and then my nipples have started to feel raw!

Yes mine have been so sensitive! Im 1wpo and saw my nurse for the first time today. When i asked her about it she promised me it’d go in 4 to 6 months!!

I experienced this it goes after 4-5 weeks x

I’m.exactly the same (and also 3 weeks PO today) – the air con in work is killing me ?? had to put plasters on my nipples today but it hasn’t really helped. I’m hoping this passes x

I had my op in September & stil have days where my nipples are sensitive ? or as bad as first few weeks post op though x

Thanks girls. Yeah it’s grim isn’t it! I dread the cool breeze! ? I read that massaging can help speed the recovery of nerve damage in the nipples? Which is essentially why they are so sensitive. I’m scared to do it because I still feel sore all over really hope you all feel better soon x

I feel exactly the same. I’m almost 3 weeks post op and my nipples feel sore and sensitive like I almost don’t want anything to touch them! Even my bra and clothes! ? I’m glad it seems normal just hope it goes really soon! xx

It’s such a horrible feeling isn’t it?! I’m 6 weeks po and they’ve just started to chill out in the past week, up until last week they were driving me crazy. I just need the sensitivity in my chest to go away and I’ll be a happy bunny! x

I’m 3 and half weeks PO and still have sensitive nipples. i’m careful not to bump into anyone or have my badge at work slide over it as it’s a strange sensation.
