I had breast augmentation in December 2018. As soon as the strapping was removed I wasn’t quite happy with the size and the look of them but was just pleased I actually had boobs so sort of tried to forget about it. After receiving my 6 week post op photos there was no trying to forget about it and I was really upset with my results, I felt they were massively different. I went reading through forums and they said to give it time for them to drop and fluff however as the time went on nothing was really changing. It was approaching my post op appointment with the surgeon and i had recently found out I was pregnant. When attending the appointment I plucked up the courage to mention I was concerned about how they look but understand it is early days. The surgeon (Dr Marcelino) instantly agreed with me and told me one of the implants had dislodged out of the pocket and that it would require revision surgery. I then had to explain that I was pregnant and the surgeon advised me I would need to go back and see him 3 months post baby and see if anything had got worse/better but that within the next 4 weeks I would receive a phone call regarding the revision surgery and my case. The 4 weeks past and I didn’t hear anything (this was back in February) so I thought I’d just wait until 3 months post baby because there wasn’t much that could be done now in that sense. I called the clinic up 3 months post baby to book an appointment with the surgeon, the girls then advised me to call back 6 months post baby as this was the policy. I was concerned that after those 6 months 1 year will have passed since my initial operation but was assured this would not affect anything. It has now reached 6 months post baby as she was born slightly early and I called the clinic today to try and get the ball rolling. This time they tried to pass me over to my PC. My PC didn’t pick up the phone so a message was left for her and she is to call me back. I am really sorry to go into so much detail but I want my case to be as clear as possible so someone can all help me.

I am just concerned they may try and fob me off for another few months but I am so self conscious about my results I just want something to be done. I am also worried my case isn’t bad enough so to hear from people who have undergone revision and for them to share some photos of their journey with me and to voice their opinions would be really helpful. I will attach photos of my results at my 6 week post op and 13 months post op and post baby. The only difference is larger/darker areolas and stretch marks which I completely understand is due to pregnancy and is not my concern at all. Please let me know what you think and help me out if you can!

    hey Ellie

I’ve just read your thread I am sorry to hear about your current situation ive not personally gone through this myself but couldn’t not write a comment and say I hope you get it sorted
As it’s not fair to leave you like that if you are not happy
The surgeon should always make sure there patients are happy

So am I right in saying that your right boob is fine but your left is the one that’s dislodged? It’s such a shame as if they were the same as the right one they would be amazing!!

I’m only two days post opp and mine are pointing down which worries me but if I was you I would pester and pester or even speak to the manager. Don’t give up and wait around!

I haven’t experienced this but I my I were you I would call up and insist on making an appointment to see your surgeon. Don’t put the phone down until one is booked.

Hi Jenni, I have now heard from my patient coordinator and she has booked me in a week today so hopefully I’m starting to get somewhere. Do you agree that somethings not right?

Do you mean MY right boob or when you look at the photo the right boob on there? And Ive been ringing ever since I’ve had the baby and have finally got and appointment with my surgeon 24.01. My PC rang yesterday and booked it so hopefully I’m getting somewhere. I just want to know what people’s opinions are of how they look. The bit that annoys me the most is he was supposed to use two different sized implants and ended up only using one size…hopefully I’m getting somewhere now though

I obviously don’t know for sure but they look no different other than the size and colour of my nipples and the stretch marks. But that is no fault of the surgeon. I had Mr Marcelino for mine. I hope yours goes well! Xx
