I’ve lost nearly 3 stone in weight and my once full size 40f boobs are now 34f, flat and droopy. I’ve got another 9lbs to loose to get to my ideal weight. When should I book the initial consultation? Loving the new skinny me but need my confidence back. I’m 56 5″2, 9st 9lb.

Congratulations on your weight loss! I too have just lost over three and a half stone and it caused me to go from a 36C to a very empty, deflated and ugly 34B. I had my initial consultation on 22nd September, met my surgeon on 23rd November, then had my surgery on 17th December. I would say to get the ball rolling as soon as you feel able to. I weighed 10 stone 1 at the time of my initial consultation and I was 9 stone 7 by the time I went in for my surgery, so there’s still plenty of time for you to get down to your ideal weight. They just ask that you are stable within a stone or so at the time of your operation.

Best thing I’ve ever done getting implants the new found confidence I have is amazing I no longer feel stupidly self conscious of my boobs. I lost 3 stone, I had no boobs prior to the weight loss but loosing the weight made me more aware of how little boob I had. Congratulations on the weight loss ?

Did you have just implants or uplift as well?

I also just had implants – my surgeon initially recommended an uplift for me as he said I had about 5% sagging prior to surgery, and he made it very clear to me that with implants I will have no choice but to have an uplift at some point in time, whether it was to be at the same time as my implants or some years down the line. I just didn’t feel ready to go for an uplift at this stage and my surgeon also said that most of the girls who get uplifts usually have around 50% sagging so I didn’t feel I really needed it right now. I am happy with my results and I think I made the right choice!
